  1. Debate on military & Iraq

The US is a (the) Super Power in the world today. We will act in what we see our best interest lies. That goes whether George Bush is President or some pinko Liberal Democrat is in office. Truly, do you think that the US will tolerate an attack on her shores to go unanswered. Don't be so ignorant, no make that don't be so stupid. Any US President that allows us to be attacked then does nothing but talk will be ousted in favor of a person who will give enemies of the US a hammering. Entropy - If you have so many issues with the US, why don't you go home to Romania??? You whine about the Atomic bombs dropped on Japan, those bombs absolutely shortened that war and saved millions of lives both Japanese and US. Truly, it is a testimony to the ferocity of the Japanese in defending places like Okinawa and Iwo Jima that the bombs were used. I notice you bring out nothing of the Marshall plan? Is that ignorance, due to Romania being under the Soviet Union at the time and refusing to participate. Let's see.... Western Germany vs Romania (snicker) ok... Japan vs Romania (snicker) France vs Romania hmmmmmmm could be a trend. I wonder if Antonescu had the bomb??? Let's look at Romania during WW2, what do you say bubba?? Think history. Does the Iron Guard ring any bells? With Antonescu's blessing, the Iron Guard unleashed a reign of terror, butchered sixty-four prominent associates of King Carol They also massacred Jews and tortured and murdered Nicolae Iorga. In January 1941, Iron Guards murdered 120 helpless Jews and mutilated their bodies. During the war, Antonescu's regime severely oppressed the Jews in Romania and the conquered territories. In Moldavia, Bukovina, and Bessarabia, Romanian soldiers carried out brutal pogroms. Troops herded at least 200,000 Jews from Bukovina and Bessarabia--who were considered Soviet traitors--across the Dniester and into miserable concentration camps where many starved or died of disease or brutality. During the war, about 260,000 Jews were killed in Bessarabia, Bukovina, and in the camps across the Dniester; Hungary's Nazi government killed or deported about 120,000 of Transylvania's 150,000 Jews in 1944. Despite rampant anti-Semitism, most Romanian Jews survived the war. Germany planned mass deportations of Jews from Romania, but Antonescu balked. Jews acted as key managers in Romania's economy, and Antonescu feared that deporting them en masse would lead to chaos; in addition, the unceasing personal appeals of Wilhelm Filderman, a Jewish leader and former classmate of Antonescu, may have made a crucial difference. Not to mention providing 500,000 troops to help out Hitler. How many Jews and Gypsies deaths are on your doorstep?? I think more than the population of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. How many Stalinist purges in Romania? So Entropy, you were raised in a totalitarian state. Hmmm, is this where you get your facts (opinions) du jour? Let's see US vs Romania Riiiiiiiiiiiight, not even worth a snicker. Stick your politics in your ear you whiny CHUMP. Go home to Romania and make it a better place to live. Go do something positive read the US Constitution it has helped us here in the US create something Great, something Special, something worth Defending. We here in the US will allow your freedom of speech, I wonder if you could be as Bluntly Honest in Romania. Malforte Proud Citizen of the Greatest Country on this Earth the United States of America.

  3. Glean some of the best suggestions that pop out at you. Then scrub the topic. Good Ideas are getting lost in the shear massive clutter. If someone is really attached to an idea they will post again. Clear the slate and start fresh. Malforte It's a Jungle out there.
  4. Small issues

I went to Karn with 143 silver bars. I tried to sell the bars. I received a message saying that I did not have enough room for the coins. I got around this by dropping 100 bars and then selling the 43. I then picked up the 100 bars and sold them to Karn at 20 a pop. Seems all the coins fit in the old backpack after all. Malforte
  5. Cities in the P2P continent

I would like to see an individual be able to buy a shop. The shop would allow the player to access the storage and to be able to create (manu, alchemy, etc.) in that location. The shops should be different sizes allowing a certain number of goods for sale based on size of shop. Other players would be able to enter and buy and sell available items. Let the owner set the price of the goods. make a way for the buyer to dicker if they want. shops could start as a cart, tinker wagon, lean to, hut, booth, large booth, small shop, shop, large shop, emporium, caravan, walmart, mall. At the higher levels allow the player to customize by an in game process (could be used for houses, guild halls, etc.) The player could provide the raw materials pay a fee and have marble floors or field stone or brick or murals or silver inlays well you get my drift there is no limit to the imagination. 6. Armor stats

Thinking that Roja had misspelled the word Cuirass and got it located in the wrong place, I went hunting. Roja had it right. Cuisse - armour for the thighs. Early cuises were simply quilted garments, like an aketon, but term also later applied to plate defenses. Aketon - quilted garment worn under armour (see gambeson, below) to absorb shock and impact. The term originated with Crusaders and is said to derive from the word "cotton." Greave however:  Greave - armour for the shin and calf. If anyone else is armor language deficent such as myself. Here is a good link. http://www.medieval-ware.com/medrenarter.html Malforte
  7. New potions for paid

The Masters potion would increase all stats by 5. Required: [Level 30 potions and Level 30 alchemy] or [Level 45 potions] all nexus at 5 5 red berries 5 titanium bars 5 henbane 1 vial 5 valerian 5 gold bars another thing that could be done in the pay version would be to allow a magical version of each portion that would increase (double?) it's effect. Take say a normal potion put in the mixer with a combination of magic essences. Should require some level of magical skill. Malforte
