arrogance is such a lude word coming from one like you tumaros, I try to devulge the information in a way that you could understand but I get called arrogant, and a b**** at that. All this assualt coming from a moderator in a non flame section. You should know better. I suggest the usuage of the religion as a side quest and that gods do not have a substantial effect on the players power. Even if the player plays four years and masters religion it would be dumb for them to be godly off of that. When I said god mode tumaros I was joking, it just meant I had a brain storm; a rush of thought. You need to think more, well atleast before you press submit. If you ever again feel the need to call anyone a b**** go right ahead, I have no problems with it, it's just the primal you expressing yourself. Also level ups should be toned down by about 10% or 30%.

And dont get me wrong, I cant run EL, last time I tried to run my own project with a group of nitwits it ended up almost half-way done. It was Cocoon =P but it was ok =D. Back then I wasnt the person I am now, but I still know I'm no director or project leader. I may have the ideals but not the stamina to deliver them. EL was a nice game, its a decent game at one time, it was ok at another, now its just a hmmm... to me. All I want to do is either see some one come up with a great idea before me or I come up with a great idea, then it is executed and the game is a success, then I leave, once the real success of satisfying the mind of the player and queling any sense of "honor" the developer might have. That's all. nothing more or less, anything short of the perfect game is failure to me, because although perfections isn't possible it does give others something to work against, and the next game that comes out better than EL will take thought and time rather than rush to put together and put it out to make money cause its gonna some systems on it. Then passively killing the intelect of the players. Games shouldnt be staying on the same level, they should be moving up the ladder. Progress in technology is fast, the progress in the gaming industry is medium, the progress in the software of the gaming industry is ok, but the thought put into it looks like something a dim witted, single chromosomed gay monkey with 1/2 the brain function that any other single chromosomed monkey would have giving it half its effort. A half assed job by a lazy retarded monkey. (not calling you one just saying over all)

you can kill a game and its creator by saying the game is crap. I'm not a pro, I have beta tested for a while though, so I consider myself seasoned on the subject. And I guess you would say your project didn't reach my expectations, or maybe I set them too high, if you still had the hardcore desire to make a great game, if you ever had the desire to do that, I respected that because not many developers nor programmers have that anymore. Over the years people/players became smarter in one thing and dumber in everything else. I'm just stating what others dont see yet. Its better to level up and have fun and learn why you live and the entire system of it all and to learn that through fantasy, than to just mindlessly slash. I came face to face with such a person that media has altered, I read too much into everything, so before I can get the point the commercial or whatever was sending the notion did not have its full effect I guess. This kid says that he cant play rpgs anymore, it doesn't feel like hes playing it it feels like its playing him. I asked him were you paying attention to the story? He said no, its like I was the story. That is where the brain is useless for him, and for anyone who thinks a story has to restrict, a indepth one at that... I was reading a book on games (Developers book), it said, (from a guy who's been in the market since pong.) "I've been around a while, since the nerds would sit in the garage and make this stuff to the twenty million dollar projects and eight year plans with huge teams, but when it comes to the industry in the future there is going to be a depression, and then authors aside from programmers would be the ones the put together the pieces of what used to be a fun system of things. I see those who are creative enough to know what to do in their own spirit as the ones who will lead into the video game genre and make the changes." I grasped that book almost 3 years ago, I covered it till it was clear about three times, because I wanted to learn how the industry worked, I came on and ventured into this whirl pool called online gaming, and within that time period only 4 games stood out the most, 2 of them I could help which I did, I dont know how they are doing now but like I said after I help I leave. But the decisions made arent very unique or blasting, they are the same old concepts again and again "Traditionally" used in a hack n slash. I dont even call games like that a mmorpg. Thats a brief list of my credentials to call myself a beta tester, infact everyone who has ever reported a bug or flaw is a beta tester. It's a easy job nothing to boast about. This is basically turning into DS but on 1 server.

Argh, ok, apparantly you skimed what i wrote, I never directly said story, It might be a riddle to you but to me its the way I think, I only used that as an example, I never meant to have you believe I meant story specificly, its just the way the game is going, the patterns remind me of almost every game I've played before, I'd be wrong to allot of people I know if this game goes the way they did, which in the original layout this game potrayed to myself is "new". The story is just a begining. And EL wont fail, it will fail yes in my eyes but it will not fail if it stays on its current path, you'll probably make a few thousand here and there, but I'm sure you'll be happy with it. You'll probably come to a point where you will leave to game almost totally, some renagade ex-staff pops up and hacks out making some super admin acting mod, almost a year after you come back and do some talking, and the cycle goes on as in every mmorpg thats been out there, of course this is a specific example. He time isnt a river, its a ocean, and I see but 1 of the many trials, but I see the one most turtles take; when they go to lay thier eggs.

yes I b****, I'm not allowed to say that but fearless leader is =D.

I understand every single little bit of it, whatever happened to making EL better? Every since game goes down the same road, there are plenty of games with 300 players rotating online that were made by a time of 4 or less people. Some of them have a very loose story but stories none the less, not to mention they are great mind blasters. I remember in the early days the set goal was; to make EL a different game than others. But its going almost gone down the same trail. A story is but an example of the lack of awesome ideas that could pop up to make the game different, years I spent making a story aside, fact is that whatever droved you to take on this endeavor must of been frail, dark, or both. --------- Oh players want more weapons, players want more quests, players want to get to higher levels, ok ya thats all ok, but this is like adding wood to the fire, by doing what your doing your turning EL into a nice expensive toy for new players with no devote ties, Basically its a ohhh nice shiny and FREEE game they probably found on mpogd, which you sponsored by wanting more players in the first place by (not you directly) spamming " vote EL". Those new players and mid new players ask for more stuff more more more, and look what happens at the end, aww this game is garbage, it gets so boring, takes so long for updates, or so many hacks cause woopie it takes so long to get 1337 items I might as well packet my stats and make em. No matter what you say, EL can and will be hacked, its not invisible, but thats only if there is something to hack and if theres a reason why your hacking it. ----Ok I'm giving you a broad spectrum of things here just stay with me--- Those same players will abandon this game with feeble reasons, the few left will be the come back sometimers, the devotes, and the occasional noob. And of them that will stay, only the one who is too lazy to find another FREEE game or just likes the game. ------------- That is the road Ive seen an incredible amount of video games that start off with the promise of being different, but for some reason I took this one seriously... -------------- I don't know what you did other than furcadia before this game, I never played furcadia long enough to find out what the general publics aura was, but from what I knew they were guys who pretended to be chicks and were definably perverts. or yiffers. --------------- Basically, a strict rpg? that isn’t so, but if my team can understand each one of my concepts, if they can be done, if they have the time to do it, if they agree to do it, you will come to see what the perfect mmorpg is. I just gave you exactly what you need to turn EL into a mmorpg, if you can perceive it as I do then you can make the changes, if you think you see it and still disagree, then I disagree but thats my opinion. You might have sacrificed too much to comfort the players, they may be happy with the slow level up system, but after that, eventually the dullest sees it, and all though I consider myself stupid to the great minds I have seen at work, others consider me a genius at the study of human psychology, it might have been just that slight edge, that allows me to see what this game is headed for, by the current and painfully obvious flaws. The ignorant perceive the informed as wize.

theres that word, I guess I'll have to develop my own game... damn you simple minded!!!!!! not saying the rest. Look I'm about to go godly smartness izzy right now, I'm feeling he serge in my head that tells me something proverbial is coming up. Take notes. Have you ever learned what it is like to make a game, I mean your making one but are you designing one? This is the truth and the only truth; the big picture. This is the grandest of tapestrys, it's as clear as day, what players want, what you want, and what is out there. What is out there is what you want to kill, What the player wants is what you have to put out. What you want, is what will make the player have fun and fill your pockets. That is the simple concept, just like talking to you all life is a battle field, being on constant defence is the only way to learn, ironic but true, never close your eyes when your guarding and always keep your sword ready, because offence is the perfect defence, but only when you have the enemy at a disadvantage. Understand that simple concept then impliment it into DEVELOPING your game, you will understand exactly what I meant when I said a story being added from that. Players yes do want to level up. But they more so than wanting to be powerful, but what they want more is the reason of being powerful. That is the key, and manipulating it softly like working this microchips you can unlock the door to the perfect mmorpg. That is it, that is the guideline I use when I full right a story dedicated for a video game, and soon what I intend on using to make not for money but for knowning that I created a story that people understand, want, breath, cherish, and maybe even adopt as a faith, would be my ego's satisfaction. And it's not just a dead end story, it's like life, but it ends only for those who understand its concepts fully, that is the story I've been working on for almost 14 years. That is the passion everyone should have when creating a video game, it's all for the glory of being able to say something, and have people listening to it.

LOL dude I was the one who said to tumaros lets add a deep story using religion went to roja and bla... If anything I'm all for the religion depth of story, the issue I have is with the bonuses from it. People will play it and forget about the story, I've seen it happen so many times in past games, they add so many bonuses to some new idea that it becomes some circus side show of character power ups; "Now watch the amazing Geleef toss the flaming sword enchanted by his god for 9999 damage because hes uber and put 999 levels into it." Then I dont want the entropy factor adding to it just to cap that off, Entropy Factor = Rationalizing everything by making it harder and less fun. That is what I am totally against, just a compound of events preordained to happen. If you begin with all these power ups then players will drop the story, WHICH TO BEGIN WITH was supposed to be a side quest not a main story line, It was something to add a sense of depth, if you may the tool of the main story to add more feel into the game without sacrificing all the things that you and roja didnt want. That was the point. But when you eventually realize whats happening thats most likely what you will do and it will kill the fun of the story, sure players might read the story but because of the hard game play they will get second thoughts from it. It would be like taking a bike down hill or walking down hill. And before you attack my character again let me state; As long as this game has a story that makes people who play it Think I am satisfied.
  9. Auto Pick up

That makes no sense, this is a suggestion concerning EL is should of died in Suggestions area...
  10. It wasnt really a joke in that context it was meant as; no one could be as dumb as to... >.< oh well, np sir.
  11. >.< U sooo kewl but U no sense of huemore. erg It was just a joke dont be so definitive. =/
  12. Auto Pick up

Hehe, make a bot =P. What you just described sounds just like one, you go to the text editor or whatever screen the programmer made for you to check stuff off, type 0 or 1 or check stuff off then save go back and ta da, your bot trainer works =D. O.o simple actually.
  13. oh no! you see then it will be too complicated; they'd probably say. What GM mean, can I join GM? GM sound cool! Why you GM? Does GM mean *Explicative deleted* and so on, its all part of society. Enjoy. To play it safe put before Roja Administrator then after Roja The one who make art So Administrator Roja The Artist/ The Level Designer. (You did make some of the levels didnt you >.<?)

Entropy don’t you think you should stop trying to devalue my statements and start worrying about how to solve them? --- Since I wont be back most likely after this post for about 3 days (YAY) here let me help you out --- Isn't it enough I watched the game transform for the past 5 months into what it is, playing it or not, I know people who play it, I've been in their situations and this is my comprised data, thank you. Stop being a politician, you sound so American.
  15. Petition to change manu back

=D it's splendid, just put more hours on the game and work your butt off. Simple.
  16. The gods

=D u didn't read the other one, I dont play EL =P, yet another invalid speculation. You would be correct, but in this case no, unless being forum active is the same as being ingame active =D. Religion was suggested as a view of depth, but led to player power ups, point noted, players who believe in a god will have advantages; "work your butt off." Isn't worshipping supposed to be a enriching experience... or so I've heard... ok ok I get it "it's not supposed to be like in real life." Doesn't mean its supposed to be as aggrivating. (I know what work ur butt off in EL means, it means 100000000 exp till lvl ...... .. .. .. . . 4). ------ Maybe to quell that instead of making the bonus alone how about a penalty for believing in the god as well, I'm still personally not for the entire constant passive powerup just for doing a few mindless quests, but hey if the boat rocks...
  17. Monster Area restrictions

lol got ambushed and pked by a gob. then it stole your items =D. Those gobs sound like pros. *takes notes*
  18. quests

Heres some help on the quests: Each number is a quest if your confused after ask sk8rjosh or some other noob helper. (I hate that word noob, so annoying calling ppl that, gonna make a new word... ok all noobs are now known as children of the corn or coc.... err that doesn't sound right ok cotc... WTF... ok whatever back to the guide.) 1: Reca: As far as I know this is the first quest and you need it to develope base attributes, Reca is in the bar on the island Isla Prima, she is the npc that sells you wine and stuff behind the counter. Talk to her and choose whatever. You can only talk to her after setting the flag by talking to the Wraith, and the Wraith is at the north east of Isla Prima by the east shore. 2: Flora: Allot of people ask about this for some reason: You need I believe 1 of each flower and you need to be a certain level to get each one. Start off with Tiger Lilys, To find them take the path south of the fire place on Isla Prima, they are hanging off of a wooden house. Then Red Snapdragons; Amazingly ppl dont see this one, its right at the fire place hanging off the big rock. Chrysanthemums are to the north west they are a little trick, just stay on the west shore you should see them. I cant remember this one, just look for a purple looking flower close to the docks Its near the lake to the south, so between the docks and the west side of the lake. Blue Lupine: this is the final one I believe, ppl have some issues with this too, just follow the path for the tiger lillys but follow it going east eventually you'll come to a bridge and cross it the lupines are right next to it. Take em back to reca and thats it. --------------- I think this is the book quest right... I dont think I can tell this one or I may get in throuble... but oh well. Some mod can just delete this, but make sure you give me your reason first. =D. If ya don't I'm sure I can find some way to get retribution through law of course. . First talk to the Wraith to start this quest This one is so simple, just allot of walking involved but get ready theres allot more walking in other quests. Talk to the npc in the bar at lakeside, to get to lakeside go to Isla PRima docks and do your clicking stuff on the banner on the boat (the pointing finger) From there proceed north till you see the bar symbol. Go upstairs and talk to the dude in the room farthest from the stairs. Go back outside head to the far far north east, or take the warp in lake side then head east from there. Check around the "R" I believe in the name of the forest. Talk to the NPC there. Term: NPC: Non Playable Character:(For all the ppl who thought they knew or for those who never knew.) Then head south to tree town, depending on which way you took to the forest you probably saw this dude already. Just head to the tree town and go in the areas north of the "O" in the name of tree town. Head back to the bar (tavern) and talk to the drunk NPC at the table then back the 2nd npc of this quest the guy upstairs. ------------------- I believe this one is where you need to give the book away or something, for more information. Talk to the dude you just got the book for then go to the NPC by the water in ISla prima (Hes by the middle of the map then go to the far east till you hit water check that area.) He need some stuff, Most of the stuff he needs is clear as day so I wont cover it, but you need the parchment from that dude, you know the only NPC i reffered to by this point as dude. He sells you one go back with all the parts and the book he will write some stuff down head back to the guy who sent you to him in the first place. -------------------- Difficulty: 2 ------------------- This is a really long quest here, but theres 2 more after this... Ok I'll make it short, Go to the npc in ISLA PRIMA by the water, then to the npc in Desert Pines by the cave, as soon as you come in off the boat head strait west till you see a warp pad then follow the mountain south east you will see a dwarf NPC, then talk to the npc in a the extreamly dark cave, this NPC is in a town in that cave, infront of his house, you need to find him hes in almost the dead center of the map. Then head to the NPC in the south part of Desert Pines just north of the direct middle of the small lake in the south part of the map. (NOT THE BANK NPC) then go back to the dwarf, then go to WSC map or White Stone City map, then go from Lake side Village to Graham Village (Cant remember the name) just head west from Lake side and look for a farmer NPC, then head to the npc back at Isla PRima by the water. --------------- Difficutly:4 --------------- This one is very very tricky but short with a great reward. First head to Dwarf Canyon, Then go dead south, dont cross the tree and make sure you hug the wall, You will see a cave, now let me warn you, if your not over 17 combat dont go in. Even if your 17-20 you need potions if you dont have armor and stuff. Go in and look at each gold ore (I cant remember precisely which one it is.) and exit the cave talk to the dwarf NPC at the begining of the cave again and there. If your below those levels just have some one escort you to clear the way. ------------------------ Ok final one I believe, the Granny quest. I still havent finished this one as I never tried to level up manu but whatever its fairly simple. Level up your manu in order then by level 13 I believe you can make everything needed, put it like this, as soon as you can make the cape, your good. ------------------------ I am not to be held in account for this wether its good or bad. I don't care and ok. Also my advice to all players aiming for quest completion is to read the story... if you really see one for them... well read the story in the first 4 quests
  19. The gods

And El falls into the rein of dictatorship, as such so many other games before it fell into. Other games that last only one eigteenth of so many years only to be remembered for weeks after their disgraceful demise as dumb and thoughtless but then there after forgotten.
  20. lvl up

ok forget thin ice, this is basically walking on frigid water here. I can understand the exp req for about lvl 1-30 but once you get to 40's and 50's its just insane. The ammount of time required is far too much, infact say max level was 99 it would take almost 5-8 months to get there in combat, forget harvesting. If that's what was aimed for then ok whatever. But its real annoying when you need almost one hundred thousand exp to level and your average enemy gives only 700 or less depending on how you fight them. I dont care what ppl say when I wear armor I get less def exp. All I'm asking for is to balance the exp out so it can take about a month of non 24hr playing to reach lvl 70 atleast. (In attributes with no caps)
  21. lvl up

Eternal Lands is a game, but unlike allot of other games it is a game in development, meaning the game has to be explored before it goes commercial, Explored fully and as naturally as possible. Each "player" is at this current moment a beta tester and has a obligation to report bugs, errors, and game play issues no matter how small it is. And no matter how small it is the developer in charge of handling these issues, bugs and errors should attempt to solve them. I don’t complain about the leveling up system for myself as there would be no point of doing so at this moment, I don’t play EL and to make the point clear all my stats for the combat and such are 29s, and 30's, Those are my highest and they will remain that way until the issue that I ran into is resolved. It sorta burns in my head when you told me; you wont accept timed quests because not all players can be on at that time or have that time. Well I believe in some ways the same is applicable to the caps and such that you added, as well as the amount of exp needed to level past level 50. I don't believe the question is about whether I care about leveling, it should be about if you care about the people playing the game. Even some of the devote believers of your exp system that I have talked to thoroughly, have some wavering about getting to a high level. I understand your belief and your questioning my is intriguing but still invalid. I am not here playing your game to level up, if I was I don’t believe I would be just level 29. I am here to test your game, and test the developer’s ability to drive through on the original promise of “something differentâ€. Which though in minor specifics you have achieved in the large picture was a failure. Just like I am not judgmental about this game because it is in early development, you shouldn't blow the casket on requirements as such. You are going to erase all the players any way right? It's only natural since these accounts are from alpha. ---I hope I made a point for you, I made one to me but you may perceive something different from what I actually typed, or maybe I perceived something different. But note that in no way is this an offensive message, and if you interpret it as such then, ok. =D

apra vie marte mann los jarho nijah.
  23. Player: I didn't know then what had happened, or how it had happened to begin with. I knew I had questions though, I knew that many others had to have questions as well. I guess I'd better head off, I might find something of interest hopefully. ----------------- ----------------- Orin (Young Boy): ... Player: ... Orin: What!? Player: I was just wondering why your not as talkative as most of the other town folk. Orin: I'm just a bit tired, that's all. Player: From? Orin: Chasing this wolf down. Player: A WOLF!? Aren't you a bit young to be worried about those? Orin: Oh, I see... no it's just a pet wolf. When it gets outside it gets a little wild and runs off. He's so sensitive, he wouldn't hurt a thing, I'm worried he might run into other wolves in the woods and this is the longest it's ever taken me to find him. Player: I'll see what I can do, do you know if any of the other towns people have seen him before he ran off? Orin: Old lady Beth might have, I saw him run off in her area before he vanished. Player: Ok when I come back it will be with your friend. ---------------- Beth: A wolf you say? Oh Orin's pet poodle, that thing? I figure as much I don't know why he keeps calling the thing a wolf. I think I saw it run off over to the woods a bit, I think my nephew Illandor might be over there chopping some wood. Player: Thank you ma'am. --------------- Illandor: A poodle? No, haven't seen one of those... Player: How about a wolf? Illandor: Oh ya, I saw one of those go by not too long ago, It scared me a bit at first then I realized it was Orins' by the brown streak on its side. I tried to get it back but it was just so determined to go deeper into the woods. Player: (Sigh) Ok, so it's deeper in the woods? Illandor: I guess but becareful out there... Player: Thank you. ----------- ----------- Mindely (Dwarf): Damn it, where is that silver mine. Player: Ahh, excuse me, have you seen a wolf around here by chance? 1: (Mindely: Now was it east of here, or to the south... Ahh, human, have any knowledge as to where the silver mine lay?) 2: (Mindely: Now was it east of here, or to the south... Ahh a fellow dwarf, surely ya have knowledge as to where the silver mine lay?) 3: (Mindely: Now was it east of here, or to the south... A Elf? Here? Well do ya know where the silver mine lay?) Player: I'm sorry sir but, I don't have a clue, I'm a bit flustered as to where this wolf went, I need to find it. Mindely: A wolf? I just saw one ya know lad, Hmm, not too long ago indeed or was it long ago, I've been stuck on this map forever - none the less I don't know which way to guide ya, as I don't know which way is which. Player: Hmm... Well I'm coming from the south, so I guess that’s north. Mindely: Thank ye las. So then the wolf went north, but may I be asking what yer doing chasing after that thing? Player: It's some ones pet, I need to find it before it gets hurt. Mindely: Ahh, I see, well best of luck to ya, I can see the sense of adventure in your eye's maybe fate would let us meet again. ------------- ------------- The wolf is outside of a cave on the mountainside. (Player has to chase and catch it by grabbing at it, pick it up like a item.) Once caught. Player: What is this cave, oh well I better head back; it's been a while since I made that promise. ----------------- Orin: Thank you so much! Player: No problem, just make sure it stays out of trouble and please make sure it doesn't get away again ok? Orin: Yes! (Smiles) Oh, my mother wanted to talk with you. She’s standing by the horse carriages. ------------------- Player: Hello. Naola: Hi, you are the one who helped my son? Player: Sort of. Naola: I'd like to thank you with something in return, but what I lack in material I can make up for in knowledge. Player: Knowledge? - Of what? Naola: Speak to my aunt, she will tell you. ----------- ---------- Beth: Hi again, I remember your face, what is your name? Player: (Says name) Beth: Well player; in this small town you’re a hero of sorts. Player: Well - Beth: No need to be modest now, your a very kind soul for helping my grand nephew and such when you had no strings making you. We in this town aren't all that rich, but I doubt you would accept any gold from us, your too pure for that am I right... Player: Ahhh, yea... Beth: I knew it, wouldn't you like to know what will happen to you? Player: Excuse? Beth: Don't stop thinking, come on, wouldn't you like to know your future? Player: (Oh great the lady's a fortune teller, wait... she might be able to read minds too... then she knows what I'm thinking, got to stop thinking... damn it can't stop.) Beth: Why are you so quite all of a sudden? Well any way, there is a cave to the far north of here, inside is a well, go in front of the well and say, Jingle tuft handles puffed. Then a nice surprise will be waiting. Player: Um, I don't think I can remember that... Could you say it again? Beth: What you have in heart you lack in brains, ah~ very well, in my old age I shouldn't be wasting this much time talking. It's; Jingle tuft handles puffed. Player: Ok, thanks. I'll head up there now. ------------------ Dungeon ----------------- Player: I guess this is the well... There doesn't seem to be much here, Hmm, I think it was Jingle tuft handles puffed... What the heck? That hole wasn't underneath me before... Gah! ------ Secret Area ------ Player: Ow... must be something to hide down here, but it's clearly not right infront of me... My very first dungeon... Why would those people send me to this place... they must of thought I was some great combat person or something. Voice: Hello! Who’s out there? Hello! Player: Hello! Hello! Voice: Hello! Can anybody hear me! Player: HEY! I CAN HEAR YOU! WHERE ARE YOU! Voice: Please help me! Player: I will but WHERE ARE YOU! Voice: Please help me~! Player: Sounds like they’re in trouble, well I'm in trouble too but apparently not as much as that guy. (There are 7 rooms to this dungeon that work in a clear scheme, 2 of the rooms are story rooms, The ending room and the beginning room. The other 5 rooms are puzzle rooms. Each puzzle room has 4 exists and 1 entrance. They work in a order that is hinted at on a sign board in the first room of the 5 puzzle rooms.) ------------------- Player: A sign - it reads: Time is what lies in this tomb, and your mind is the only boundary that escapes this tomb, but through time memories are what’s left of you, and so it is passed as the passers are tombed. When you face your path from left to right is start to quad. The orders for the rooms are: 3/2/2/1 Grand child/Nephew/Niece/Grand Aunt 3rd generation / 2nd generation / 2nd generation /1st generation. (Each time the player gets it wrong they go back to the first room with the sign.) ----------------- Story for Each room: Puzzle Room 2: ----------------- Voice: Can you hear me! Is anyone hearing me! Player: He sounds far away still - Stay where you are! Voice: I'm so cold! Can you help me if you can hear me! Player: This doesn't sound good. ------------ Puzzle Room 3: ------------ Player: Where are you! Are you..?! Voice: Please, I need help! Player: How deep are you!? Voice: I nee help! I've gone too far in! I don't know where to go. Player: He doesn't sound that far away - maybe I went too far in also... ----------- Puzzle Room 4: ----------- (In this room lay the skeleton of a human.) Player: He must be scared out of his mind if he saw this skeleton, I know I would be; but he's probably scared enough for the both of us. Hey can you hear me! (Pause) Player: Weird, maybe he found a way out? ----------- Puzzle Room 5: ----------- Player: How many rooms are there to this place!? Hello! Can you hear me! Heh, this is how he must of felt. -------------- Final Room -------------- (There are a bunch of fancy and colorful trinkets around the carpeted floor, but the obvious attempt by some one to make a cave homey still seemed to fail, but the sense of warmth from the little ornaments and the small fire still reach you.) Player:.... Doesn't seem like anyone’s here. (You notice a grand father clock in the corner.) Wow must of taken a big person to haul this sucker down here. Ulin (An old gray bearded wizard): Not really. Player: Huh? Ulin: I was out hunting for food when I heard some one calling out so loud it scared the deer away. Player: Um, ya who are you? I was looking for some one in the cave; I fell down here and heard someone calling for help. Ulin: Oh, ha, ha. Well not allot of people enter this cave. Player: I wonder why? Ulin: Ha, ha, yes indeed, you see; you are the only one who heard that voice for help. Player: Huh? Ulin: Well in a sense any way. Anyone who enters this cave hears the guidelines of their future, the road they will take weather it is a selfish path or a righteous path is only determined by the heart. But its up to the listener to perceive each word spoken. Player: Confusing... Ulin: To most time is. Ahh, so why do you visit my home? Player: Well I guess you could say I was tricked into coming here, by the villagers to the south of here. Ulin: Ahh! No by all means you weren't. I've been waiting on you for a long time. Player: Huh? Ulin: Well some one like you, I need to move this clock out of the caves but I cant seem to remember the enchantment to remove it's seal, It would be very helpfull if you would do me the favor of visiting the magic shop in white stone and pick up atleast two of each sigil. Player: That is a lot of money. Ulin: Ho, money is a problem? I forgot about such a thing... just tell the merchant my name; I'm sure you will do just fine. Oh and make sure you walk, the resonance from teleporting really diffuses the quality, so make sure you don’t teleport for a couple of days before you pick up the sigils. --------------------------- Outside the cave --------------------------- Player: I don't get it, why do I get stuck with this... I just don’t get it. Isn't that Mindely? Mindely: Ho, las! I traveled southwards behind ya to ask ye for some more directions, ya see I can't remember southeast or southwest exactly. Player: There isn't very much to it, just look west. Mindely: Yes. Player: Then look south. Mindely: Ok then south. Player: Then when your looking south slowly turn half way to how you would turn to face the west, and that's south west. Mindely: Slowly turn. Ok! Thank ya las. Player: No problem. Um hey, what’s with that pick of yours? Mindely: Oh this? It's mi enchanted pickaxe! Player: (Huh?) An enchanted pickaxe? Mindely: Yes, it slightly purifies the ore it picks raw. So the ore that is almost one hundred percent pure, turns fully pure. Player: Oh, now I get it, that’s pretty useful. Mindely: Indeed it is, when I get to the silver mine. Player: Ya, well best of luck, I have a errand to run. ---------------------- Part 2:
  24. The gods

God's shouldn't affect anything passively period, you'd have to pray to that god before they help you, though a god irl keeps its eyes over all at all times it doesn't help all at all times. Believing in a religions should deal with stats that directly deal with religion hence stopping all the power hungry people who just go in it to level manu or something. But just like the potions of harvest and stuff if you pray to a god you use faith points and you gain depending on your level of belief a certain ammount of points in that skill for a certain ammount of time depending on how many faith points your willing to expell, You'd gain faith points back by attending church, praying and commiting yourself to certain acts.
  25. lvl up

You forgot Legend's which I also compared to, that is a mmorpg that has about 300 players at a time (All at one), they have a system that people become powerful in 1 month. That game isn't based off power, the main concept of a mmorpg isn't to become powerful, if I wanted to play a game to become strong I'd play a rpg, if I wanted a game to become strong and talk to people sometimes I'd play D2; or any other hack n' slash for that matter. (I was comparing level up systems, I never specified a genre just in successful games, I broke it down into 2 groups ones that are heard about allot and ones that are underground; sorta.) But a mmorpg is massivly multiplayer online for a reason. A mmofps is something I dont clearly understand, I know what it is but to explain why is another thing. However a rpg is sort of a story, a team work, role play, and so on. Not just become powerful, I'm just saying when you have the resources to add more ... accesoiries to the game, quests, side quests, mini games... then lower the exp req, As long as there are allot of different things to do it will filter out the people who only want to become powerful, the rest can become the best in what they want to become the best in. That is the true purpose of a mmorpg, to mimic the real world, but make it fantasy. That is the one true goal no matter what road you take.
