Ok, I think I found it, I did some major researching into mmorpg story design and came up with this story conclusion. Section 1: The parts of the story Section 2: Why I made the story Section 3: The story ------------ 1: Ok I looked up at the local library on video games specifically rpgs, I came up with a nice definition for it but I had to dig a little deeper to find what makes up the story portions of an mmorpg. I came up with one conclusion and did a contrast with the current EL. This is what I came up with. --------------- 2: It’s not a real personal story it’s all - technical really. This is just a story design is that is widely accepted amongst almost all mmorpgs with a story. The concept of the story is unique but the design is the same. ---------------- 3: The world was in turmoil as men of power gathered to conquer all the land, the ones left; the last bastion of hope lied in the women and men who the cognation of evil saw to rule. Almost fifty years after the horrific battles the lands are scared and now instead of battle the people aim to rejuvenate the lands and renew eternal peace. Enter the Eternal Lands and help undo the damage that was done, from hunting and rebuilding to the purging of unsettled souls. Claim your stake and make yourself a legend in a world of thousands of players. Leave your mark in the Eternal Lands. ------------- That’s the usual design, and then from there once you play the game the actual story is pretty vague, not strong at all.

Pro: So much freedom you can take it for granted. Con: So much mass media it can make you stupid. Pro: So much opportunity you dont know where to go next. Con: So many requirements you dont have anywhere to go. I dont know, I guess I like it cause its a 50/50 country.

Ok just finished reading your post again =D. Big Picture huh? Lol think outside the box. Ok how about this, I look at the world around me but I see allot of things I dont like, in this world innocense is not even real, no one is innocent no one at all. Those same guys we helped out in Iraq in the near future could need nuclear missiles to handle tensions with o say some other middle eastern country who believe in the same god and that their land belongs to us because its holy land. Did you even know the longest war ever is the crusades? The crusades is still going on right now, and we watched it over and over and over here in NY as the trade center fell. The war for christians, catholics, ..... the list goes on but it still falls under 1 thing, the book. Or so I like to reffer to it, this war has been going on in world war 1 as england divided the middle east to weaken the bonds in religion they had.... Look I hate explaining things to people, I hate even more to be judged by people, I hate even more than that to have to explain then be judged. The only thing that ticked me off about saddam was that he torcherd them, but still unless they asked for help from the US their shouldnt have been any involvement by the US. The US was in my eyes the bad guy, we went in their and killed a countries leader, in a situations 90% of this country didnt understand, everyone thought conspiracy! ITS ALL FOR OIL, they didnt know oil was just a side product of victory. US has billions of gallons of oil stored up, enough to last us another 6 generations if the worlds resources run out. Like I said, I dont fight for country, I fight for the lives of those who are in the country I enlisted to protect. My role as a proud member of the US army is not to murder the innocent or to overrule any dictator, or to force upon others a form of dictatorship, It is to serve an protect the men, women, and children in the country I swore my life to. Ok I did a brief touch on this one before, I was thinking of 2 different versions of this, one could us EL's current capabilities, another would be better but would need a little extra. The one with a litte extra is this: Basically the game would work in a almost never ending chapter change, so the server would actually go in chapters, meaning that after every say 6 months the graphics everything would change, as 6 months or so is the mark of the new chapter. The game revolves around 3 npcs as a base line. The 2 kings and The Grand Bishop. Its a heavy plot story, and I gave a very brief idea of the depth of the story. However it would need a decent ammount of upkeep. But I feel like it would be a very intimate story between the game and the player. Of course their are other key characters in this but they arent true main characters, an example is the Exiled son who appears after the King is poisoned, however the twist is that the Grand Bishop had planted roots in the son so when he took the crown he would kill the Vizier who was also working for the Bishop but had no idea of the role he was playing and all eyes of speculations would be shut as they are lead by the New king into a age of turmoil. ------- The second uses EL's current gaming system of what I call ... the run around. So its just a group of systemically places quests with no real end just rewards ontop of rewards. Each quest having to deal with another quest and a main idea, but it keeps going.

Heres the end, US had no right to fight against Iraq. Thats that, and my explanation. The Army was founded for the ethical value of defence. Not for defence of country but defending of lives. It was meant as a form of retaliation, like for example; if you kill him then I'll kill 9 of you. Fact is some one attacked a building and did a damn fine job at it. But this is the truth, unless the president had well presentable evidence to point the finger that is the only case we had the ethical right to go to war. I dont care what saddam was doing in his country, he could be commiting mass genocide, untill a cry came out for help from that country from the masses, we had no right to cross that border. Once we crossed it Saddam had every right to use as many chemical and biological weapons he wanted to because he would be defending his country. But doesn't the fact he didnt use them alarm you one bit? I mean its clear as day the reasons for entering the country was invalid by the fact that now its a US controlled country and we cant find 1 bomb. But wait lets all forget about that for a second, elections coming up and bush managed to find saddam right in the nick of time to gain some popularity points. =D. I guess the fact that family members that hated Saddam who were pointing the finger at where he was for months finally got their own translator so that US soldiers could find him. =D. But wtf, we can find Saddam in a coffin? But we cant find Binladen in a cave? I mean yea sure Afgan isn't under US control but damn it! Saddam was in a 6 by 8 room. F*** I'm all for long game play, but damn it for real, if this game gets a official review and it continues down its road... most back water games dont get ign reviews unless they are made in asia by some grp of ex pro game designers. But if this game does appear in like comp mag or something its gonna get a 2 on replay value. General restrictions are the best, when u start gettin specific its all hell! Class restrictions are cool, like u need to be a certain class to get a bonus off this weapon, but if ur not that class u dont get it but if the weapon has somethin else u can get a bonus off that. =D. Oh ya! But its all ok! right? I mean I dont know - ppl want specific restrictions, soon it'll probably be 120 harvest an hour but 12 fails per a good pick of lupine =P. =D good times. err, I hate newtons theories, none of them are sound. He did get one thing right though, gravity is a form of measurement opposite to the general belief of it being a "thing". Like time or metric units, gravity is the measurement of a accumulated ammount of energy or mass in a specific area. When the chinesse jump them jumping (if the earth were to even move) would push the earth away from them in the direction of them jumping geometricly to a angle at which they all coinside. The only force that would relate them to the earth physically after they jump is the partricals around them. And it is the particles directly above each of them that would wiegh them down. However who is to say that when they jump the mass below them isn't replaced. It would be like as if when I jump directly below me for a fraction of a moment there is a gap in space where nothing exists. Then in that and in only that case would the earth be pulled even slightly. =D Thats all just common sense though. =P You dont need newton to tell u that. maybe instead have a drop menu, so they can *see* and select which channel they want to go to. Use that exact description you just gave me as a difference between noob help and regular help. Then let them decide where they want to go.

Ok then how about this, instead of starting off noobs on the noob channel, how about starting them on the help channel, that way mid level and older level players can help them (yuck) and they can go to noob channel anytime they want to till they get banned =D. lets hope that never happens, even though I doubt 1.6 billion people on a average weight about 200 billion pounds. The force of them all jumping should push the earth, then the force of them landing should push the earth more, given that they could move the earth at all. Seeing as how the rocks on earth alone weigh (molten included) weight over 900 billion pounds, thats just my estimate, it should be allot more than that. Probably in the trillions. I was just wondering, if its possible; the blood... like if you clober someone with a blunt weapon it sounds like *Boof*, but if you slash them with a blade it sounds like *shwing*. Soo I was wondering for each critical hit could blood spray come out a certain way. Like for each portion of the body vs each weapon used, the blood would just gush out a certain way... thats if theirs even going to be blood. Like if you clobber some thing real good, the blood should just burst out like when you pop a ballon of blood with a mallet.

The church rules EL basically, there are many gods but each fall under one worship. The player joins the religion and embarks on their journey, only to uncover a dark history in how the church came to be. In a failed confrontation the church brands you a heretic and the story begins. The king of the land is seperate from the church however even he knows it is healthier for him to side with the church, the people (npcs) are mindless puppets of the lies that have been placed as truths. Commander of the Imperial army and legend amungst soldiers Ilan Thunder Mane is wise but very distracted, the church knowing that if a man of that much influence amung the soldiers were to see the truth then tides would shift, however they cannot smear him as they still need him to fight off Galduchi's Army. As the web is being woven the player visits the head church of (Some town) Only to learn of the churchs plot of total domination using the gods. The church had orchestrated the entire war to distract the two sides, and were intending to assasinate the King Narlude of the Imperial Army. On a mad rush back to warn the king you encounter Leoni the assasin sent to kill the king, however he is disguised as a traveling apprentice to a merchant. He learns of your plot and tells you a false short cut to the king (Story plot) he kills the king and you encounter him much later again. The Imperial Army has no king and Galduchi seems to be the only side to blame, the war begins and the church begins its true plot. The assasination og Galduchi's the 5ths daughter in place of him was also planed out, now the war has been provoked on both ends. The player meets Ilan and convince him his life is in grave danger, Ilan visits the church leaders for conference of their deeds but is then viewed as a heretic and pushs himself into self exile but is still being hunted. The player finds Ilan through a tamed dragon, Ilans wife is a dragon master. However Ilan feels as though he cant do anything because everything is run by the church. Now with the kings advisor (a agent of the church) ruling the Imperials the only chance left is to find the kings exiled heir. Learning of this plot from a spy the church prepares a welcome party for the sons return. On the other side Galduchi's Army and their people have gone into a depression, the people shun their king and turn to the church for saving. The church feeds them the lies to blind even the most outgoing civilian of what is really happening. ----------------Bla that's all so far. Its decent but has to be toned down for it to be online >.<

unless the game gets faster or has a transport system similar to that in DS then beam up is the best thing for not making the game feel draged out. I think it should be done with, but something should be put in its place, maybe a #beam me up command that uses items that you have to open a portal. Clicking just gets annoying. =P So it would sorta be like casting a magic spell.
