  1. That is why it is our duty to Protect them and Monitor what they Read on the Internet at all times. There is a lot of Filth and Garbage out there that can severly Influance tem and do a lot of harm to their Fragile and Impressional Minds and end up undoing so much of our Hard work trying to teach them right from wrong.

I disagree with everything in that post but this part.

end up undoing so much of our Hard work trying to teach them right from wrong.

The rest I strongly disagree with, If they were raised right then their minds are not easily impressionable, nor are their minds fragile if brought up right.

Might be just me, but At age 6 I can assure you I could have easily visited p0rn sites, read maddox, and just about anything the internet has without flinching.

(besides they shouldnt use the internet till like 8 anyway really, this means more stupid newbies! :D!!)

I understand that being a parent means you care about them, but if you brought them up on truth and not made up bullshit, then the truth doesn't scare them as much.

Like I said, it is probably me, Ive been this way throughout my life.

(dunno if that was a sarcastic post or not, I cant read sarcasim over the internet unless its a web site B) )

  2. hmm i also thought of having spells level up as you advance in skills.

the change could be more simplified if it was at a steady rate

    (every 5 lvs=x3 effect)

as for staffs... they could do the thing...oh fc it i'll say it they could be infinite as rs(AHH MY EARS BURN!!! ) which would be GREAT.

this however may not be practical.. the top 3 lving spells only use 1 type of essence each (heal, shield, restoration) so it might be better if it halved the req. energy cost for the spell ( )this would make it much easier for us mages.

as for something on my mind...

how about mage armour? seems practical. it could even have a function

like escape or a teleport spell.

if we used this i would suggest this skills req.

    Regular mage armour.-lv 10

    (no effect)

    ~

    Mages armour of escape.-lv 15

(allows one escape cast per minute)

    ~

Mages armour of remote teleport-lv 15

(casts teleport to range every 15 seconds)

    ~

    Mages armour of Stone.-lv20

(teleport to white stone city once every 3 minutes)

    ~

(all major towns, places are available with thier own matching armours)

this means that i dont feel like naming dp..port.. yada yada.

    ~

    Mages Armour of Life.-lv 21

(casts restoration every 3 seconds.requires 2 health essences)

    ~

Mages Armour of Space and Time.-lv 24

(casts teleport to portals room once every 5 minutes)

:also: could also cast tele to range unlimited times? sounds good to me tongue.gif

    ~

Grand Wizards Armour of Immunity.-lv 30

grants PERMANENT immunnity from spells when worn

    ~

biggrin.gif hope you like my ideas.

heh, I suppose the majority of your posts tells more than your first,

230 posts in suggestions forum.. I think it was largley a waste of time now, I was just more hopeful back then ;)

  3. I have win xp home/suse 9.1 on my laptop at home (in essence my computer)

and use suse 9.1 at school,

windows, I grew up on it, so I know everything about win 98, and win xp isnt too hard once you understand the basic things.

Linux, it seems much more stable, i LOVE ctrl+alt+f1-6, the ability to fix crashing programs is nice from command line point of view. (heh i miss being able to push ctrl+alt+del like 6 times and restart windows, the extra 4 pushes ensures it closes. rofl :)

But, having the ability to play more than like 20 games without using wine or crossover to play them, is NICE.

If not for program incompatability, and the un equaled difficulty in installing ANYTHING AT ALL, I might like linux.

Did I mention it's near impossible to install anything on linux? rofl

  4. how about new rule,

    rule #16

You are not allowed to disagree or discuss or argue/flame on or about the rules, you don't like them, leave, or be banned.

  5. Rebooted: You should try their bugtracker. Because that crash with opening options were

known issue and it had been fixed in half an hour. :-P

    Regards.

the little circle thing around my feet always flickered with the ground, plus there was no one that will talk to me

  6. I tried planeshift, and everytime i opened the options screen it crashed.

Anyway, www.freeallegiance.org is a verry good game, its more of a strategy game than a shooter, though not a mmorpg. It really needs players, as it is kept up by fans now, it may have a steep learning curve, but it is definatly worth it :P

Yeah I cant play mmorpg's anymore because of el.. Ive lost any kind of want to play them, because I know it will never measure up to el's level of quality. (i am NOT talking about graphics or anything that shallow.. I mean the community, or what it was.)

  7. atlantis was basically made because SG 1 is ending soon I believe.

SG 1 pwns teh f00k out of atlantis, Richard Dean Anderson is funny as hell :P (O'neill for those who didnt pay attention to credits.)

    On a side note,

Who likes battlestar galactica (the new one) ?

I love how the doctor guy is like going insane, and how there is always this constant thing about god, although they have a different reliegion, lords of cobal I think.

  8. like...the thermal/magic/fire/ice/mystery/titanium/mithril/uranium/steel/iron super-great-ultra-mega-apocalypse-bringing-i-hope-you-are-in-demigod-sword! 50-100 damage, 10 radiation damage, 10 magic damage, 10 fire damage, 10 ice damage, 15 mystery damage, +10 defense, +10 accuracy, +10 critical to damage, +10 critical to hit, cannot be worn with anything else, it takes all 8 slots, and 1-hit ko's on every single person in the game short of a mod in demigod

sounds like knights of the round from FFVII.

God I hope el doesnt go "kiddy" or "family oriented" like runescape, and forces censor and all kinds of crap, the way to prevent this is to add:

giant bloody weapons and real time weapon damage, so that you can see the eyelashes on a zombie's head you just cut off with your Ub3r Scyth of eternal maiming.

    (joking.)

oh and +550 mystery damage, only the mystery damage was to the holy pancake of war.

  9. make resources farther away to reduce lag= players bitching about time it take to make things

make new continent=suitable until twice the number people online now join, then same problem.

proportionalize maps=players still bitch about time.

It is a paradox, lag or players bitching, such a joy to make an mmorpg isnt it ent?

  10. How about an intro movie for EL?

if not an intro movie, movies about el would be good aswell,

here are some ideas, feel free to submit your own:

    player parts:

Entropy: Sean Connery with Silk Boxers

    Roja: A talking Rose

    Learner: Cylon

    Platyna: Kitten with Tactical Nuke

TirasHazor: Data w/ Emotion Chip (Star Trek)

    MoonShadow:Chris Farley on Acid

    SirKillAlot:Arnold Sw.

Rebootedrock:Terminator with the ability to Control Time.

    Plot Ideas:

Have SKA come back in time to save ent from an army of kittens, cylons, and millions of terminators riding atop genetically enhanced velociraptors. SKA and ent run for alabama, because surely no one in their right mind lives there, only to find Moonshadow hunting them, because he believes they killed his pet clown manatee. Ska and Ent (referred to as the rebel alliance) make thier way to an abandoned military base only to find TirasHazor waiting for them, he helps them escape from the banned one's tactical nuke strike on barbados, only to find that androids cannot swim in water, where upon Tiras sinks into the ocean's depth to find roja, a talking rose of great wisdom, who tells him to contact HP's costumerservice line for support, after 12 hours of waiting, he finds his warranty expired 4 years in the future, somehow.

The rebel alliance makes its way to cheyanne mountain military base, where they negotiate with general hammond a way to escape the pursuit of platyna, learner and moonshadow. Only to find that hammond was in fact a cyclon, but did not know it. Luckily the rebel alliance makes it through the stargate in time and finds themself on a strange new world...

    Need Ideas
