The Mingling and Unmasking If peeps would like to pre-register with me that would be superb, either through these Forums, (name here is obviously "ferngale"), a Gossip message, or an IG PM. Peeps, of course, can enter at any time during the game and inform me by the latter. I will create and have on hand a Master List. This list will be provided to the Moderators so everyone is protected from any multi-playing accusations FOR THE PERIOD OF AND AT THE EVENT ONLY! Please be wise about this. You may use an already-created alt OR one done for just this event. That's up to you. No list of names will apear on these forums, nor any general disclosure but to the Moderators. I will be there as "Ferny", at least for that part of the Event. As each person thinks they have five guesses correct, they submit them to me through PM only. I will check against my list and tell them how many are correct. However if they have any/some wrong I will let them know How many but not which ones. If they have all correct they can choose to stop or continue on with guessing more. The Winner will be the person who guesses the most correctly. As this part of the Event will last only a half hour, I suggest it be contained in one area. We'll start in the Master Suite and move to the Library when we need the room Rules: 1. The Alt MUST be the one at this part of the Event. 2. Anyone PMing me for hints or spamming me will be disqualified and go on my temporary Ignore List. 3. Anyone particpating MUST be registered with me in order to to win. Comment: While some perhaps will be tempted to cheat in a variety of ways, the Point here is to have fun, and test your knowledge of, and your perceptions about, other people that play this game with you. I agree completely with this, but I also agree that spending 6-7 hours on a spawn is insane and prolly really bad for your wrists and eyes. However, we do have a mid-level "heal spell" sorta. It's called Life Drain. IF Restore were changed, how about increasing the HP recovered from LD to 5 pts per level? More/different essies required, more emu taken up. For now, my vote is no. Ferny

NOPE. One of the GREAT things about this game is that there is room in here for everyone! You may not agree with their philosophy or like the way they play, but that IS their choice. And thankfully they are allowed it. Ferny

Since Winter Solstice upon us and it is a time for new beginnings and more Light..... Does anyone need some extra swords or capes or enriched essences? Or maybe a few extra pieces of say Iron armor? or a some other "items" we found stowed away? Watch for the announcement of the event start time, you just might have FUN! ^.^ Ferny

There is a fairly simple solution to ending this problem IMHO * By continually replying to this post, we only add fuel to the fire. One of the Best ways to deal with egotistical attention seekers is to ignore them. And I mean Total Ignore. No trading, no contact, no reponse to forum posts. And may I say, this is an option that I find abhorrent (means distasteful or repugnant to those who don't know that word) but at times, we all have to do things we don't like. Ferny *and yes, I know my posting seems a contradiction. But I feel this has taken up way too much of Everyone's time and energy. Nuff said.

But what I want is to divide mainly between fighters and workers. erm, perhaps I am not understanding clearly here, you wish to differentiate between "good" workers and "bad" fighters? What about the concept of Balance? Surely as in RL, we all have elements of both light and dark? What about the concept of a player who wants to be Both? Is that the Neutral? and would that player then be less advantaged by however the benefits of of both are decided? And if fighters were "dark" who would manu for them? or potion or make essies? They complain enough as it is that they are eternally broke. Confused as usual, Ferny

Well - certainly might affect some guilds. It deffinitely would be interesting to have two peeps of different affiliations in the same guild. *scratches head* I mean couldn't an "evil person" sabotage the efforts of a "good one" if they so chose - or were inclined - or were paid to? Or for that matter an "Evil Guild" that of it's opposite? And transversely, could a "Good" person do something "Evil" like spy? or sabotage? hmm... Tremendous possibilities here. One thought as brought up by others.... This NPC should be able to Ignore the anti-social perk. Many of us best able to contribute to this are anti. Fair yes? Ferny

Hmm.... well I am not at all certain. The ones who do wear clothes tend to pay no attention to the fit or stlye, so they must not be female. And the ones who don't wear any must be male..... But they are indeed umm reproducing at an alarming rate... Does that mean there are some well dressed hidden female skellies we have not seen the likes of yet?

I completely agree, but I have one concern...Storage! Especially in places or times when it gets crowded - like NC on the weekends. I don't think anyone intentionally blocks the NPC"s, but sometimes it does take time to access them. If there are a lot of umm, er, well "larger" chars it really could be a problem. Perhaps there could be a stepladder issued to us "shorter" types? hehe! Ferny
