This is a weird way to see the forums when I come back for the first time in about a week... And not cool either... I remember the first time my brother and I tried this game, back when the maximum amount of people on was 7, and he and I were sorta bored, because we couldn't figure out how to get about 50 paces away from the docks, so we started looking for a new game with more to do. Then they implemented harvesting... Wow... I spent my first couple hours with that, trying to see if there was a limit to how much you could hold in your storage... There was... Can't remember exactly, but it was in the very large number range... up there in the 60k's I think? I also remember me flipping out about the harvesting cap. I was the first person to bitch at Ent, and I'm not proud of it. Now that I see the game more fleshed out, and how the cap works in practice instead of in theory, when the only thing to do was harvest, I see that Entropy really is smart. If he says no running, then by damn, he's got a reason for it. If he says that he wants stuff broken (and before I got to this stupid campus with all gaming blocked) I had my fair share of stuff broken... and there's a reason for that. I'm not gonna explain it, but Entropy knows it. I might. I'm not sure. I'm just gonna say that I wish you idiotic n00bs that are always complaining about the way things are done would just go back to Dransik from whence you came, (I have no clue what the new name of that is now...) You guys always seem to ruin everything, and now you've gone and ruined what would have been the next big thing. Had Entropy and Co. been picked up and financed by some of the big guys, or just plain gotten some starting investments, this game could have skyrocketed. Sure, it's not EQ... THAT"S THE POINT! This was a new game, well designed and implemented by a really great guy, who, from the beginning, was highly involved in not just the production, but the community. Some game developers take on that "god" status, and see it as beneath them to talk to the community ever. They even get toadies to issue news announcements. Entropy has always welcomed suggestions WHERE THEY"RE NEEDED. He never needed suggestions on running or harvesting caps. That's why he wouldn't suggest them. Before he implemented anything, he always thought it through first, and in hindsight, I now agree with every decision he made. So I'm sorry Ent. I really am. I know this was a big dream for you, and you exceeded my expectations. And now a bunch of idiots get in the way. I wish this had turned out different. But I'm looking forward to your next project. I know it will be amazingly bug free, and very well thought out. I just hope you don't let idiots near it like these whiny n00bs that are just like I used to be. I luff you enty! EDIT: Holy crap... I see that tomorrow will be my 11 month anniversary in joining this game...

Don't even bother to figure out how LV does it. Before I got blocked by the stupid campus firewall, I asked him too many times to recall how he did it, and he would never answer. I don't get it. This is PatrickHenry btw... AND Due to a letter I wrote to the tech department, the student senate and the techies are gonna try to make it so we can play games online. YAY! EL I'll be back!

I'm really wanting to play this game, as I have been for a while, but I'm having a problem with the campus network. I just got internet access on campus, and am trying to figure out how to play this game. I start up the client and then it says that it can't connect to server. Just updated the game to version 1.0.0, and then that still didn't work, so I deleted it and installed the full game version of 1.0.0. Now my only option left that I can think of is which ports can be used for EL, or if there's any way to switch ports. If that's not possible I need to know which ports to tell tech support to unblock. Me hates port blocking. Thanks y'all.

You didn't die soon enough dude. Just stop making this game less enjoyable for the rest of us, and go play a game that welcomes this stuff, like Dransik.
