another issue: many people who run the big contests need to run more than one EL window to coordinate checkpoints/characters for the contest (I've participated in at least 2 of such contests) including the moderators running the gods. If it gets implemented i wouldn't look for the the window title but would use a mutex

nice idea, but EL is open source so would be easy to "remove" that feature and doesn't prevent people from using 2 computers

i love this game and especially the rules created by the majority of the people playing EL. Therefore i will fight fury in every way that's possible and not breaking any in-game rules. means i'll treat you as you would treat me if you had the chance

Yes and No Ops is (as i already said) nominative, the root word is "op" and the "is" ending makes it a genitive (also already said). Had a little chat with my latin teacher about that and he agreed with me, the idea it was based on the deity didn't come up. The reference to a roman deity was new to me so i looked it up and we both are right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ops now i would be interested what "opis magnus" means, "great power" or is it also based on this deity?

hm... my latin knowledge tells me: corpus: body ops: genitiv of ops: power as opis is genitive it should mean "body of power" or "power's body" if you want it to mean "body of power" or "body's power" it should be "corporis ops" or "ops corporis" so "opis magnus" would mean "height of power" or "power's height"....

book of iron sword of fire never got an answer to pc on chan 3 and only offers were 2-3kgc, so didn't try to sell it for months... and GREAT idea, radu edit: imo tit axe const isn't rare as almost every fluffy training player has it.... i think those "sword of fire/ice/thermal/magic" are meant...

was a really good invasion, like the fact that there were maps from both continents involved and how mortos made me a god but one little complain though: i lagged out a lot because there were too many creatures around.... maybe let them not only spawn concentrated around a single place but all over the map. good job and thanks, i really enjoyed it although i lost 2 rostos today

Hi, everytime when I review my chat_log.txt or grep it, I get the time but not the date and always wonder about the date. That's why i asked.... I stated my point, it would be great to include it as an option even if only available via ini file and not via gui. Don't get me wrong, i never said "it's just a time stamp change" or i wouldn't have asked for permission to use a client that has "just a time stamp change"... So as a lot of people did before me i know ask officially for permission to use a modified client, that shows timestamp including date in chat_log.... either i get permission or not... If i don't get permission, fine with me, i'll live with it... If i get permission, it's no guarantee for others to get permission for using other modified clients if asked for... so i see no need for a discussion on the topic if it's "just a timestamp change" or a modification i hereby ask permission for. edit: typos

my chat_log is currently 49MB and as I already said, i don't mind the extra bytes for date in each line... making it a option is a good idea, even if it's only in the ini file and not accessable via gui... nevertheless i would appreciate it if i get an answer to my initially question, if i may connect to main server with this "modified" client the problem is more that i don't look for the date, i look for keywords, most times names if someone wants to join the guild. i do a simple grep for the name and get a few lines (or more *g*) but i don't know how old they are... that's where the date is very usefull for me. and as i said, i don't want to introduce a new feature to general client, i just want it approved so that i can change it and use it.... edit: my chatlog now contains 950689 lines... with date in each line that would make ~9mb more space... in times where hard disks are 300gb for 90 euro i really don't care about the 10 bytes more each line

I don't mind if I need these extra bytes for my chat_log but i prefer to see the date in the line when running through the logfile via grep. That's why i didn't deliver a patch or cared for the startdate of the log but asked for permission to use a client that is modified as mentioned above. Most people won't need it as i doubt they run through chatlog via grep but with an editor...

yes, he was in 1&0 but they didn't know about him. after a little talk with hyperlite, the gm of 1&0 we made a deal. *R* and 1&0 declared war to each other. Telestox and i killed him in votd gold mine at the moment, night time in EL made killing him in non PK maps pk able thanks to guild wars. we got nmt cape, titanium greaves and COL from his Deathbag and gave them back to the player sartan has stolen those thing from. Just wanted to clear up things for 1&0 here.
