Roja Report post Posted September 6, 2004 Everytime I close my browser window that is open to these forums, when I reopen the window I have to log back in. It NEVER keeps me logged in. And yes, I do checkmark the box "keep me logged in". I'm using Firefox, but it happens wtih IE as well. Does this happen to anyone else? Anyone know WHY it happens or how to fix it? It's sooo annoying. In the cookie info menu it says: Expires: at end of session. So I'm assuming that it just doesn't save the cookie the way I want it to. Can I manually edit the cookie perhaps? Ember Report post Posted September 6, 2004 I use Firefox also but i dont have that problem do you have tools/Options/privacy/cookies cookies enabled? i do have the problem when i use IE thou so i stick to firefox (also did you have firefox save your pass? or ask it to not and not to ask again?) sirdan Report post Posted September 6, 2004 i have that problem with fire fox but i have my name and pass saved to the log in thing so i dont have to type my name and pass and all that the other wierd thing is my clan has the same forums i belive and i stay loged in wierd eh? vartican Report post Posted September 6, 2004 i had this problem before, this worked for me (with ie) first log out of the forums,close your browser,then manually delete all the cookies relating to the el forums,now open your browser and log into the forums,close your browser and now you should stay logged in Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
