Sixpounder Report post Posted Monday at 06:21 AM Hello, I would like to kindly ask for clarification regarding why my account was banned. As far as I know, I did not do anything wrong. I had simply left my character in the DP library reading. I occasionally asked my sister to click on the food to keep the character fed, and I can assure you that she did not do anything else, as she is not even a player not interested in Eternal Lands. I did not share my account with anyone; it is only accessed from my own PC. I do not understand which rule I may have violated, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could explain the reason for the ban. If this was a misunderstanding, I would be grateful if the situation could be reviewed. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Kind regards, Sixpounder

I occasionally asked my sister to click on the food to keep the character fed Right, so if I understand correctly, your sister clicked to keep the char fed (every 1200 s), while you were quietly asleep (from the time at which this occurred)? And you forgot to tell your sister that not replying to Mod PMs is a bad thing? 5 minutes ago, Sixpounder said: I can assure you that she did not do anything else, as she is not even a player not interested in Eternal Lands Let's ignore the double negative (which would imply she is intereseted in EL). How can you assure she didn't do anything else? As you were not there at the moment the character was locked, from what you wrote above...
Sixpounder Report post Posted Monday at 06:52 AM I do not want to sit here and argue. I just want to explain what happened. I asked her if she had done anything, and she told me that she only clicked on food.. She didn't even watch the screen and she doesn't care. She does not even know the game mechanics. She does not know how the character moves, how the game works, or what Eternal Lands even is. She is staying with me this week, and I asked her for a favor. That is all. If possible, please check the logs. Every time someone contacted me or traded with me in the past months, I always replied quickly. Last night, I simply asked her to do me this favor. I do not know if I will get my character back, but I would like to make one request: please consider donating my items to random players, or, if someone is interested in buying everything for USD, donating that money instead. I worked hard to collect those items, and it would really be a shame if they were lost forever. At least this way, someone else could make use of them
revi Report post Posted Monday at 07:19 AM If that's your story, well... I don't believe it? Keep in mind I know what time I locked the character, after watching it for a certain period. Nice favor, if she has to stay awake until 6 am... Given this story, and what had been found already in server logs, I see no reason to unlock the character, now or in the future. Sixpounder Report post Posted Monday at 07:26 AM I understand your point of view, and I do not want to keep arguing or waste anyone’s time. I can only explain what happened from my side, but I also understand that you have the server logs and that you have to make decisions based on what you found there. If the rules were broken, even unintentionally, then I accept that I am responsible for my character and for what happened on my account. I am sorry for the situation and for not handling it properly. I should not have asked someone else to interact with the character, especially if I was not there to respond to moderators. I would still like to thank you for taking the time to answer me. I am disappointed, of course, because I spent a lot of time on this character, but I understand your decision. If the character will not be unlocked, then I only ask one final thing, if it is possible: please consider letting the items be used by other players instead of being lost forever. If that is not possible either, I understand. Thank you anyway for your time. Kind regards, Sixpounder
Sixpounder Report post Posted Monday at 08:41 AM (edited) @revi I just noticed the mention of “every 1200 seconds” while rereading the messages, and I would like to ask for one clarification, if possible.Could you please verify whether the character actually used food at exact 1200-second intervals, or whether the timing showed some variation? I understand that you have the logs and that the final decision is yours. I am only asking because random timing would be more consistent with someone clicking manually, while exact timing would suggest something different. Also, my sister lives on the other side of the world and is only visiting me for a week. I do not want to share personal real-life information publicly, but she asked if she could use my PC, I let her, and I only asked her to do that one thing. From my past months of playing, you can also see that I have never left the Eternal Lands client open all night. This was the first time. Thank you for your time. This is hardly the first and only "incident". And oh yes, we do have server logs indeed. You know, I've heard so many fun excuses over the years. This one isn't even all that creative or plausible. Lol.
Sixpounder Report post Posted Monday at 01:51 PM @AislinnI understand your position and I don't want to keep arguing endlessly, but I would like to clarify one point honestly. When you checked me in the past to verify whether I was present, I always replied to messages and to trades within few seconds, just the time it took me to type, since I'm not a native speaker. There was not a single time I wasn't playing. Last night I left the client open, which is something I normally never do, and I asked my sister, who was staying at my house, for a favor, only to click the food. I understand that from the outside this can look suspicious, and I understand the decision is yours based on what you find in the logs. I'm very sorry that you don't believe my explanation. In my own small way I've always tried to help the Eternal Lands community when I had the occasion, and I have no interest in cheating it. Either way, thank you for your time
Aislinn Report post Posted Monday at 01:54 PM The rule doesn't state "No Macroing or Automation only if you are afk but if you are sitting here chatting away or doing something else on a different character at the same time it's okay."
Sixpounder Report post Posted Monday at 03:23 PM I honestly don't know what else to say. I've never done any of this, and I feel I've always behaved correctly with everyone in the game. I have two alts, not twenty, and I rarely used them together — the most I ever mixed was two characters, when I had to mix fire essences. I can understand the ban for last night, even if you don't believe my explanation of what happened. I take responsibility for leaving the client open, and I won't keep arguing about it. What I'm most sorry about is the nice people I met in game. That's the part that actually matters to me. Thank you again for your time replying to me.
