Change Notes for Pear Hunters

Recommended Posts

- Take note of all map changes in the server update list. While the goal was to keep harvs in their known places, there may have been some harv individual pieces that were moved, removed, or added to out of necessity. These should be very obvious when you see them.

- All previously reported harvestables stuck underground or in rocks or otherwise not directly visible have either been moved out to be visible, or removed completely. This does not mean I got everything, but at this point it should be close to everything.

- Hurquin Crypt is no longer harvestable, so the pear will no longer be there - This is due to the addition of several insides to the same map that make it confusing that only one spot can be harvested, when even that spot shouldn't have been technically harvestable in the first place.

- Irinveron gained a couple fruit, at the new campfire a few steps west of Arkos NPC as mentioned in the server update.

Generally speaking, if you've regularly pear hunted, changes will be very obvious, nothing added that isn't near harvestables that already existed (except the Irinveron fruit mentioned above) so you'll see any additions as obvious when you hunt.

I can't tell you how much time I spent "unhiding" harvestable items on almost every map that has them. They're difficult to find, and easily placed that way in the map editor by those who originally created the maps (and didn't have thoughts of pear hunts).

They still exist to this day. Fortunately they are few and far between.

Posting this one for pear hunters. There are, in fact, 15 amber pieces in the north part of Saret's Cave in Trassian as EL-DB says there are. EL-DB's info is directly from the map files.

However, only 5 are visible. The other 10 are underneath the ground tiles.

So everyone pear hunting there knows, this is how they are located without the ground tiles showing, and northern rock pieces removed, in the map editor.
