2 Players could challenge each other to duel, pretty much could turn combatant towards each otherr, mines would work, summons would work ( or could be set up ) , prize could be set up - possibly with some % goes to server like tombo. On tele to portals/ ictpr / ring out /death the combat is over and who stays in area wins .  So pretty much "little 1v1 arena" anywhere"

There are a few 2 square arenas where this can be done now already, except for enforcing a win server side.

There are also lots of other (mostly unused) PK areas over various maps.

 

Is it really worthwhile to create extra maps (or map spots) and coding for this?

(The points you made about mines and summons with the "could be set up" make me think you propose specific areas and entries for the duels)

the fight would be only between 2 players, and lets say area  20 x 20 would be temporary created for them, highlighted with #temporary mark  no1 else could interact, so it's different than 1v1 area, where you have to stand still. Something like both turned combatant, but could fight each other only.
