Guest Dude Report post Posted February 2 I think the book read counter in the client is not working. On the EL website I can see my character with a silver book achievement. In the game i do not have that. The error message I get staring to read a book is: >Cannot record item use in counters as item is not unique. Guest Dude Report post Posted February 2 Now i'm not sure if this error message does show up when buying a book. Have read a couple the last few hours without the message. What remains is that the 'knowledgeable' achievement is not shown in the game. Should it show somewhere in the stats how many books i read? Can't find any enrty for that. revi Report post Posted February 2 For the achievement to show up, you may have to restart the game client: afaik, information about read books and achievements is sent on login, after that only updates are sent (i.e. new or redeemed achievements), not the full lists. Guest Dude Report post Posted February 2 Nope. Issuing #item_uid 1 in the chat, saving, signing out and back in did not do the trick. If you look at Dudeness on the homepage you can see the achievement, so the server is fine. Only the client refuses. Not a big issue. Love the game. I don't know how long ago you signed up, but email can take a few hours to trickle through the different nodes. Also, check your spam boxes.... And once you reply to the confirmation mail, don't forget to follow the instructions (basically: post as guest in the validation thread with your forum name.)
