AntumDeluge Report post Posted July 12, 2022 (edited) Has EL switched from freenode to a new IRC server? The website still points to freenode, but it appears to be dead. I haven't played EL in years, but I would be interested in keeping up with the community chat. Over at Stendhal, we are using the libera.chat server. And OpenGameArt.org uses freegamedev.net. I think those are two popular servers for projects that migrated from freenode. I actually searched for an EL Discord server as well but didn't find any. Aislinn Report post Posted July 12, 2022 No official EL Discord server but many guilds have their own. A few invite others in depending on what they're looking for. As for IRC channels, EL still has freenode but I think some people made a new one over at libera. IRC was never big in EL anyway other than one private guild channel that I know of as well. I don't think either source is going to provide you with all-inclusive community chat. You're best served ingame for that using the chat channels. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
