Post 1.9.6 release - updates & issues

'Ok just made an example trade at Naralik sto,  Both Trim and Flava stand next to viroel basicly no 2 steps away from him (i have screenshot if you need it) bot stood next to each other,  trims inventory is empty, i gave from flava to trim  2 red snake 2 brown snake 2 green snake 4 bones  from inventory to trim and from storage

40 Bear Fur 

1 Beaver fur

 61 Black panther fur 

] 2 Brown Snake Skin 

30 Brown rabbit fur

4 Deer Antlers

1 Falcon Feather

 4 Deer Fur 

11 Fox Fur

29 Leopard fur

 61 Polar Bear Fur

[10:50:40] trim was notified, now wait to see if s/he wants to trade with you.

[10:51:43] Trade session failed. trim can't carry all the items.
Trimi has  You have 157 out of 300 slots used. and all items in the trade are items that trim has anyway.

The thing is i did do the trade with flava accepting trade first, doing double click on accept on trim, then accept on flava

and the trade fails

Exact same trade (same position done right now after i wrote first part

[10:59:05] flava wants to trade with you. Use the trade icon then click on him/her in order to accept the trade.

Works as it should onld difference i made was, i waited between clicking for first accept and second accept a second or 2 and did not made a double click to have it green as fast as possible.

Characters did not move did not change anythign else with storages etc

 

I can repeat this regularly and i am not the only one, as Biker_Boy did made me aware of the possible reason for it

OK thanks, I've reproduced it.  It looks to be because you are sending the second accept, before you received the acknowledgement from the server for the first accept.  I'll add some additional logic to prevent that.  The failure mode is interesting, getting the destination wrong when storage is intended, but I see that happen too.  The fail is just because its wrongly going to inventory and you can't hold that much.  When you can hold it and it goes to inventory without failing the trade, the trade log fails to report.  I can see why that would be.  So the extra logic will fix the trade log bug you mentioned too.

Updated version is 1.9.6.0-20220226

  • Fix trade issue where items would not be sent to storage as expected.
  • Reset number of enabled local lights on map change.

after instaled client from first page in this post, client crashes from time to time, usualy during changing maps (win 11, newest graphics driver)

 

EDIT: when i have open two clients second one crashes very very often :(

Does the client version you are using show 1.9.6.0-20220226?

Yes please, the "lights reset fix" mentioned was a possible crash on map change.

tested some time on two clients open in the same time - no crashes \o/
