Problem with Intel's GPU

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have fresh laptop ASUS TUF 15 with Intel UHD graphics and NVidia RTX3500

EL works great on Intel but cant turn on water effect, and lighting are black not white...

Is it normal on this card?

BTE. I know i can switch to NVidia, but it cost significant lower battery time so......

did you install UHD/chipset drivers? If not try to do so.

And if nothing else works, you could significantly undervolt the RTX - to consume less battery. Idk how it works with neither nvidia, nor laptops, unfortunately. Haven't used either in 4ever.

But even a fresh laptop can be stuck with the drivers provided at the release of the OS, which

may already be outdated at that time (a system has to be verified before release, so all components are

frozen some time before the official release date)

So if you didn't upgrade them yourself, you are likely to have older versions of the drivers.

You might try to find newer drivers on the Intel and NVidia sites.
