Barny Report post Posted October 17, 2021 Hi all, I have a new pc and apparently I downloaded newer client of EL and it uses different source files for counter and spells. Old version used files with appendic *.dat, new one uses *.json. Is there a way to transform old files into new ones? I don't want to lose my counter history. Thank you very much. Kaddy Report post Posted October 17, 2021 Go to options on new Client, from "Server" tab, unselect "Use New format to save user files (.json)" and close the client. bluap Report post Posted October 17, 2021 (edited) Adding to what Kaddy said, once you have your data restored, you should re-select the "Use New format to save user files (.json)" option. The old data file formats are being phased out. Also for others, if you place the old files into the folder before starting the new client for the first time, the conversion would be automatic.
