Lexi Report post Posted April 30, 2011 It's a pain for Mana drain too, what I normally do is let them walk around while following them, then they will pause for a rest, and I can then cast the spell. As far as a specific location for a tightly enclosed creature... there are a few secrets, but I don't know any public places. Unfortunately, Life Draining with an actual player is best, because if you sit with the lock on, you will only need to heal and cast.

nathanstenzel Report post Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) I suggest you cast it, walk towards it (by not clicking on it, but instead next to it) and then click on it with the wand icon to select the target. If you click on it when it is out of range, you will lose the spell (not ingreds) and need to successfully cast again, which can be a pain in the butt. Also, note that you can switch cursors and attack it and then switch the cursor back to the wand to select the cursor to finish your spell. This can be very useful if your spell would not do any good at the moment, but you want it to be prepared for some time during the combat. I hope this helps. As for a location, the house on IP with a rat in it, assuming you stand in the middle should probably reach the rat with magic no matter where in there it is. edit: I forgot to mention one other thing. You give your summons life, so you can take it away. If you summon things, you can drain the life from your own summons who are automatically somewhat attracted to your location.
