Actually I broke eight picks! Seriously though, alchemy is one of my top skills and I am regularly seen at SRM mines making bars. This has never happened to me in all my steel smelting time. However, as a side note, I seem to notice that upto, during, and immediately after the finding of stones (any type) there is an increase in overall pickaxe breakage by players, or it has always seemed to be the case. That doesnt mean everytime you lose 10 picks in a row you're bound to get a stone, just that if you're going to get one, there WILL be a lot of broken pickaxes around it.
