The Sea Sprites Return

Recommended Posts

As of Noon yesterday at low tide the Missing Science vessel the Sea Sprite was discovered sunk of the coast of Bethel.

An investigative team were sent to search the beaches and ruins for any survivors.

The team was composed of skilled warriors more than capable of dealing with the usual denizens of the desert ruins.

They were ambushed and all but one of them was slain or worse.

The scout of the group Lt Marsh stumbled into Idaloran city near death and delirious with sunstroke.

Our healers have made him comfortable and we have managed to get a few pieces of information from him.

a ) There are 4 creatures lurking in Bethel. They appear to be the original research team from the Sea sprite. Somehow the Dire storm has changed them. They appear to be bent upon finishing the job the storm started at the begining of the week.

b ) The rest of the crew appear to be apparitions, ghosts that walk. Controlled by the "Storm Masters"

c ) They seem capable of commanding other creatures, instilling with in them the fury and savage fury of the storm.

Weather reports are showing what was meant to be a rather mundane storm approaching tomorrow night has over the last 6 hours been intensifying. We believe it is the work of those in Bethel to recapture the essence of the dire storm and send it once more upon us. This time we fear it wont be a chaotic force of nature but a more controlled instrument of natures fearsome wrath.

We will keep you uptodate on infomation as it comes to attention.

INVASION: Friday 2nd April Evening time GMT

C1 will be safe apart from Naralik & Portland

C2 Port Anitora, Idaloran Outsides, Irsis, Emerald Valley trade route, Glacmor & Zirakinbar will be unaffected.

Other c2 maps may be invaded, use them at your peril.

As with all invasions...if you are going afk I Strongly recommend you do so inside a building or on Isla prima.

Report from the Meteorologists society

We are expecting the storm to hit shores at in the early hours of 17th day of Nimlos. The bulk of the storm front is gathering around Bethel.

Lt marsh is now in a stable condition, and has managed to give us a few more details about the activities of the four.

They are forcing the local cylops tribe to excavate the ruins, they appear to be searching for something beneath the desert sands. All i could see was that they were collecting the numerous bones that lay under the windswept dunes.

We are trying to move archers onto the cliff tops before hand, if we can get a good unit up there, it will make the warriors job so much easier.

INVASION will be in about 6-7 hours from this post.
