Guest Askius Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Hey, guys, when I started Eternal Lands, when I connected to server, everytime the 3d game came up, it crashed! I tried following the instructions of renaming the #use_animation_program= 1 and replacing it with 0 but it won't let me save it! HELP!
Aetius Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Update your graphics card driver. When I used a Nvidia GeForce 2, the best driver that worked for EL was a Detonator 23.11. Search google for the best driver for your card. EL should run just fine. What kind of graphics card do you have?

Aetius Report post Posted October 4, 2009 That is strange. Maybe one of the techies here can help you. Try googling NVIDIA GeForce 9400M drivers, and find the lastest one for your mac.

Aetius Report post Posted October 5, 2009 If you run windows, try one of these, at your own risk http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=681000 The latest macbooks have new vid cards so I can't find many updated drivers for them. Anyone else know how to help?
0ctane Report post Posted October 15, 2009 While Aetius has good intentions, he does not understand how Macs work apparently. Apple is the only one that distributes new drivers for the graphics cards, so unless there is a system update, there are no new drivers. That being said, the integrated Intel graphics cards on MacBooks are known to be buggy. Please read the Sticky at the top of this forum regarding posting guidelines when asking for help. Knowing your system specs possibly will help determine the source of the problem.
