The old UK mirror was replaced with a new UK mirror and should be good. I am having the same issue. I have tried downloading from all 3 mirrors for windows and it will start to download and then cancel itself. I go resume the download and it will say it's done but in the end it cannot open the .exe because it ends up being an invalid win32 application.
