Sulfuric Acid

Recommended Posts

Sulfuric Acid (potion):

Ingredients:

1 Empty Vial

100 Sulfur

100 Fire Essences

100 Water Essences

1 Dragon scale (catalyst)

Items required to have:

Mortar & Pestle

Alembic

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you "use with" on your enemy the Sulfuric Acid, you'll have a chance (5% ?) to hit the face of your opponent.

With a successful attempt, the enemy player:

- will be paralyzed for 3 (?) turns;

- will drop (100%) the items in his hands (weapon and/or shield);

- will drop (50%) the items in his head (COL, COM, helm or night visor).

To wear helm or night visor reduces the Sulfuric Acid success chance %

:)

Wouldnt acid weapons have a chance to degrade or damage items as well? Traditionally, games have had similar effects from acid-based attack type monsters and weapons. I'm sure there's no need to quote specific games here, there's enough evidence in most of the popular past-to-present roleplay/dungeon genre of games that names should be superfluous.

The ingrediets are too expensive and the chance too small, no one would use it.

and without the dragon scale? maybe with chemical or acid damage each hit.

humanalien, no. you can add to recipe, for example, 3 empty vials: 1 mix=4 potions

Entropy, you know the right adjustments about cost/parameters/pros/cons

Ranging level is useful: more levels, more chances to hit.

How about an arrow/bolt that you just stick inside that vial filled with acid, then shoot it at your opponent to do acid damage :D Using small vials may be beneficial to the range..

Cost per arrow/bolt twice as much as the most expensive arrow/bolt atm. Damage (normal+acid) like 40% higher then fire/ice arrows/bolts and of course some special effect to the bolt version...

like this idea :). maybe for bolt change to break/degrade armor since its acid (sounds most logical to me) and maybe make titanium and bronze (not sure if this can resists sulfuric acid) holding armors more resistant to this degrade than iron or steel armor.

also good then the scales will have some use :)

and got also new additions to it, sulfuric would be the base of other acids like nitric acid (from saltpeter) and hydrocloric acid (from salt as new harvestable)

1 sulfuric acid + 2 saltpeter (KNO3) => 1 nitric acid

1 sulfuric acid + 2 salt (nacl) => 1 hydrochloric acid

then you can have 3 type of arrows with different effects

they are al produced using alchemy skil.

I'm not so sure. People might try this on someone using a JSoC+life shield+Red helm of life and mana.
