FirEBallS Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Have any of you worked so very hard on making plans. Plans to make something very nice take place. You worked out every step. Did everything within your power to make it become reality. Your down to the very last step to make it all come together. But the last step has to be completed by someone else. Now you sit and wait. Your stress level is through the roof. You feel like everything is out of your control. You try to keep your mind on other thing like work, kids, the weather but it all comes back to the uncertainty of will it work out or not. It is now out of your hands were you do not like things to be!!! If I still was a drinker I think I would be at the bar Any suggestion? FireBalls

Arnieman Report post Posted March 9, 2009 I agree with Gohan, tho when all else fails, flamethrowers are good venting mechanisms. That said, no flaming people.

annatira Report post Posted March 9, 2009 Does "someone else" know what they need to do and how important it is to you? Say what you want. That way you've removed any doubt that the person knows what you want. and GOOD LUCK! I hope your plan works out.
Shadow_runner Report post Posted March 10, 2009 Remember that you can only control things that are in your control. Remain positive and continue along the same path that has given you success thus far.
Crom Report post Posted March 10, 2009 Like Annatira said get a hold of them and state your concerns, things could have come up for them and it may have slipped their mind. Keep a positive attitude and all will work out in the end!
Neverman Report post Posted March 13, 2009 I like this saying... "Worry is like a rocking chair...It keeps you busy but dosen't get you anywhere." You can always laugh and tell your brain that the gig is up..."Dear Brain, I know there's nothing I can do at this stage but wait, so why you gotta make me all anxious & stuff? QUIT IT!" (work is boring)
