Finally, got the database back.

As you know, our previous host, ipowerweb.com canceled our account a few days ago, because the forum was taking too much of their CPU time. They should have notified us about this problem, so we would have fixed it somehow, but for some reason they didn't.

Anyway, after a lot of e-mails, and calling them on the phone, etc. they finally gave us the database back. In fact they didn't, they just allowed me to log in into the previous account so I can take my files.

After a lot of frustrations and problems with the way PHPBB exports it's data (FYI it exports all the unnecesary garbage, making the database dump about 5-10 times bigger than it should be), I used PhpMyadmin to delete the unencesary tables (like search results, etc.). I also had to delete all the private messages, since that was taking quite a few space as well. Sorry for that.

 

The new version is coming along fine, I ESTIMATE to have the test server online Sunday, but this is not a promise, so it might as well be Monday.
