Please make sure you have your video card specs in the signature, and post if that thing is 0 or 1, regardless of what videocard you have. ... 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
marack Report post Posted March 6, 2008 (edited) Installed RC_10 on all three PCs. The Intel and GeForce PCs load and run well and I've added their UVP thingies to my siggy. The RADEON PC experiences a MS C++ Runtine Library Error during loading and crashes; while "Initializing OpenGL extensions". All three PCs have been updated the same way for all RCx versions to date. Saw your post about moving char with another client, did this but still experience the MS runtime error. EDIT: ahhh...saw your post about another .exe to download - I'll try it and report back. EDIT: Installed the "newer" version of RC_10 on the RADEON PC and no runtime error. It loads and seems to be running well. I've updated my siggy accordingly. Just a thought. if you change the full screen option in your el.ini and start the game in full screen it will not crash in full screen. I tried pl.. and other maps... but game just crashed after trying to explore other maps... If this error is being ignored for now, I apologize for bringing it up again. Will provide screenshot if desired. edit: now reinstalling game to see if that fixes map problems etc Reinstalled, and experienced same problems, travelled to pl, votd, dp and experienced same problems. 800x600x32 was fine, but when I switched back from 1024x768x32 to 800x600x32 the problems were seen at that video mode as well. The client works now , I can log in, STAY logged in and also can interact , which means the '' cant select shit '' bug no longer exists for me.
