Change formula for black dragon armors

If making dragon/bronze armor parts degradable is not about to happen, how about make them fragmentable? For example, when part of dragon/bronze armor is destroyed, a dragon/bronze splinter comes up to your inventory (if you have full EMU/full slots, then like rare stone, pity :P). Then make alternative formula for dragon/bronze armor parts as few splinters and some EME(s) and/or binding stone(s) to mold it together?

It doesnt give u +50 armor+ many special effects or anything, no? Its just little better from tit/steel sets and has cool look :icon8:

 

It's hard to find special effects too.

I'm thinking to some special day effect :icon8: but we need to wear the full armor + helm (*).

A sun tzu effect wearing a full* armor (good exp and risk to break armor) or a chance to have the Day of the Dead's effect (respawn with full hp where we died without to lose rosto... still risk to break armor).

 

Just some idea but, I repeat, under some condition like to wear the full armor+helm.

Players r not retards, we dont wear tit/steel/dragon helms when col is so much better, unless for show off, but yeah, bonus for full set would be cool, like +50/100 health would be good enough imho to make ppl not wear CoL all the time but also helms :w00t:

Ok, there are some interesting ideas on this thread, but unfortunately, not enough time to implement them (my server programming time 'budget' is full for 1+ years).

What I can do is make them degrade into something else, but that thing will not be reparable.

Maybe wearing complete set (applies to all plate sets) could give slight bonus to attributes.

Due to the high price and rarity of dragon armour, would it be feasible both programming wise and EL economy wise to make Dragon armour degrade down to the next lowest armour in the chain.

 

IE: Dragon torso degrades to >> Dragon cuisses... Cuisses degrade to >> Dragon greeves.... Greaves degrade to Dragon helm... Helm degrades to >>> broken

 

Wether an item degrades just once or down the whole chain ( torso can degrade 3 times before going poof as a helm) Im not sure what would be best.

IMO it would keep the armour price high, as in theory you are getting 2+ pieces of armour for your money,Manuers would still have something to make ( if your torso degrades to cuisses you still need to replace your torso)

Dragon armor part => Dragon armor trash

 

Level 1000 engineer + dragon armor trash + some tool worth 10 million gc and breaks before you can use it = 0-2 dragon scales?
