Should there be a limit of players joining a guild?

I think there should be a limit of players joining a single guild because if guilds have a lot of players then we are going to have few people to fight with.

By limiting the numbers of people allowed in a guild we will have more guilds more players to fight and more fun.

Hhmm...

If this gets implemented, *CO* might have to split

into two allied guilds, or maybe even downsize.

As the server grows, the limit should be removed.

IRON is made up of players that are more mature, and come and go and return again when they have interest again.

A limit like this make casual guilds like ours impossible.

It is possible, but it is only to be annoying.

This will never work, people will just create wing-guilds that are allied with each other when the later guild gets 15 members.

But you can create guild and not take more than 15 members in, you are going to have a lot of people to fight.

Sorry, but Wing guild has no allies :D

Edit : Oh, and for the vote, no limit of course

I'm also voting no for the reasons stated. Some players don't play as often as others, so there may be some guilds who find themselves with only 2-3 players on at a time. Other guilds will simply ally with other guilds to compensate or create branches of themselves.

Also we have to consider how many players have alts and whether or not the alts will join the guild. If each person has one alt, that means only seven people in the guild (assuming both characters are in the same guild). This will add extra problems if those people go missing.

There *could* be a limit of active players who could join a guild (when the amount of active players of a guild is counted like they logged on during the last 3 months or such). That would make sense.

But a limit of, lets say, 50 players joining a guild, and thats it, wont work IMO.

Rather than a limit on a number of players a guild could have would it not make sense to just limit the number of allies/non attack a guild could have?

This would force guilds to choose more wisely about who they are interested in joining forces with.

If a guild could only have say 1 full ally and 2 non attacks, this would force more competition in the game.

I'm wondering if we could simply try the PK server as it is and see what happens before looking for new rules and limits to apply to the server... :fire:

This won't work either.

Attacking players is not automatical action, so alliance does not have to be declared with the command. Guilds can just decide: "We won't attack you, so you won't attack us".

Without setting alliance or even without changing guild color if it would be limited too.
