Cant find server error msg

Hi,

For a while now i have been having serious lagging and resync problems. I have looked through all the previous topics and tried all sorts to rectify this problem.

I have formatted my hard drive, updated everything and installed EL agian from new.

I have checked the error log file and have had this msg

 

[19:32:33] Error: Server profile not found in servers.lst for server: Lands\el.exe". Failover to server: main.

can someone help as im lost for new ideas

That error message in the log comes from clicking on el.exe in the EL directory rather than running if from a menu or shortcut on the desktop. There's a parsing error (still) there and it pulls off everything after the last blank as the "server name". It can't find Lands\el.exe so it defaults to main.

Yes i can play the game with a lot of frustration, resync all the time and 30 sec laggs ill post the rest of the log cheers for the reply

In the future, refrain to post your WHOLE EL log, instead post the stuff from the last log in only.

This is the problem i get but i can not log onto the game at all

I have treind to unistall and re install the game but still would not work

Yeah its really starting to get to me now, i dont want to leave the game as im really into it, but im finding myself playing it less now that i cant train.

Me too iv already tried that, i deleted all EL files from my docs and EL dir still the same, updated my graphics driver also it was intel 915, i have taken PrtSc of the initial page and saved it but its asking for url when i try to insert it as picture, being IT brain dead im not up to speed with url's

Hi all,

seem to have solved it, i disconnected my Sky tv phone line and everything is ok again. ping is down to 150 now from up to 16000, big difference.

should be closed now
