cant use # or @

since the new update I cant type # or @ anymore, which means I cant talk in a channel or send guild messages.

 

Also I cant use any command like #beam me or #sto or anything for that matter, so I'm stuck to local chat and pm's.

 

I am on a laptop and have to use Alt Gr for these symbols.

 

Also the minimap doesnt pop up when I use <alt + m> but it does when I use <alt + ?>

I have the same problem here....when i try to type @ or # (alt gr + 2 or 3), my character uses a item from my quick item bar instead of typing

thanks to molime that problem is fixed, we have to use ctrl+alt instead of alt Gr

Another option is to replace those characters with something else. In the file:

$data_dir$/languages/$lang$/strings/console.xml

for example, on windows:

C:\Program Files\Eternal Lands\languages\en\strings\console.xml

and change <char_cmd>#</char_cmd><char_at>@</char_at><char_slash>/</char_slash>

as required
