Vanyel Report post Posted September 7, 2007 (edited) http://www.reuters.com/article/entertainme...ocus_on_parents I've been preparing to depart from home to the work trip when this message hit me. Lucianno Pavarotti died in his house in Modina. I knew he is sick and in a very poor condition, but still, it hit me. The person I own a lot in my life, though, I've never met. Thanks to him, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras I discovered an opera. Nevertheless his appearance, each time I've heard his voice, especially singing Nessun dorma I felt a thrill of excitement and a strike of emotions. I am more than sure that this will never change. The great master is not with us anymore, but his music, the heart he put into every single of his performances will stay. evilmangopie Report post Posted September 7, 2007 I want to say that he has to be one of the greatest singers. I am a singer myself and I say that his voice was so natural, powerful, passionate but beautiful. A very sad day.
