Sir_Exeus Report post Posted June 19, 2007 (edited) Have you ever wonderd what the best guild at fighting in El ? Well now we can find out! (With some restrictions) Contest name: Guild War. Date and Time: Unknown OK here is how it goes. All guilds competing must choose three members to fight. Each member must be between 10 and 100att/def to participate. Altho technical we won't find out who's THE BEST guild in El we will find one thats close. OK Rules. 1) No Sumning 2) Rostos and disengagement rings are ok to use. 3) Damage rings and mana drain rings can be used. 4) NO double team. Each member fights a member. If one member from a guild dies another member can take his place fighting. 5) Once your dead your out. If your guild moves on your still out. 6) Armor must not exceed Iron. Lots of PK contests recently… Before you host your own, there are a few things you should think about. -Are you going to allow BoD/BroD in your contest? -Will summoning be allowed in your contest? Summoning Stones? -How about magic armor? -What will guilds gain by competing in your contest? That’s everything I could think of off-hand, I’m sure I forgot something… Also, look over past contests and see what worked/didn’t work, and make sure to review the PK Contest Rules... Good luck anyway though... no guild that has players over 50att/def ok? This is going to hurt your participation rate heavily. Cyprom Report post Posted June 20, 2007 It has already been pointed out that the winner would be the strongest and not the best guild, but I stil wonder how a guild with fighters below 100 can be the best... (So pkg might have a chance) So, if i read that right as long as peoples actual a/d at the event, at the time, is under 100, then they can compete. TS'ing to get to under 100 is ok. Since ya changed the name of the contest, but not the name of the thread. Maybe I'll not post flareing, but suggestion on what imo would be considered "Best Guild" on EL as title still suggests. I think "Best Guild" would be a positive minded guild. With all skill types, all levels and ranks of people. That guild may have many back ground types and personalities. There are many that could fit this description. So then maybe ya would also want to include advantages some guilds may have. Do they have market bots, are there discounts, allies, enemies, maps, helpfullness, fun, etc. So I could name honestly 3 - maybe 5 over the last etc years I have been playing that would fit this description. But as for best pk guild. Hmm.. I'm guessing we're talking about present day. I could think of a couple from while ago - long ago that would fit that as well. As for present. I can think of a few. No, if a person wants to argue that someones att/def is over 100 all they have to do is printscreen the exp they get per dodge/hit and their own rationality. All you have to do is say "all potions allowed except att and def pots", which makes sense for a 100 a/d tops comp. No need to make people turn off privacy, many PK'ers in EL dont like revealing thier p/c, if you try and force them to be able to enter this competition your decreasing potential participants, quite alot. EDIT: What's the point in PK when you cannot summon? I see discrimination of conjourers here!!! (I am conjourer myself) Theres still alot of point to PK without summoning... armor, weapon, potion, magic, medallion, etc. strategy... i highly enjoy fighting people with similar stats to mine without summons.
