crus Report post Posted October 29, 2006 Any1 on linux used compiz or beryl (on top of AIGLX) and had the flicker issue with EL and managed to solve it?.. It happens everytime i click to mapwalk or to mix, el screen just blinks black for a second, when im standing or rotating camera using keyboard it's all fine.. Any help appreciated. bluap Report post Posted November 1, 2006 I know very little about compiz and even less about its use with AIGLX. However, I was reading a magazine and it mentioned disabling compiz when apps are full screen. It said to set /apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/unredirect_fullscreen_windows to true. crus Report post Posted November 5, 2006 True, it's a gconf option, i played with it, and indeed if in Fullscreen there is no issue of that kind, but my problem is that i play el windowd and i have to play it that way becouse i multitask a lot.
