Aranka Report post Posted January 23, 2008 i voted no, i firmly believe that you can more or less control your addiction (to alcohol) - as it is only partly genetically defined. thats why i see no reason for insurances to cover it, as it is a disease you put on yourself (you dont get it by accident). also if you need a liver transplantation because of too much alcohol, the insurances shouldn't have to cover it in the same way as other medical procedures (as it is your own fault).
