The_Piper Report post Posted April 12, 2006 Tsk tsk tsk, so many short-term views here... Yes, but i needed only a few lines to describe them In Norse Mythology, there're also an Underworld and a Whalall (or Valhalla, or whatever way it's written). The difference is, that christianity knows hell and heaven, bad and good. The norse mythology uses only one place where dead people go AND survive the end of the world and thats underworld, the empire of Hel, who, oh, irony, is the stem for the christian Hell. Walhalla is the place where the brave fighters go when they die in combat. When it comes to the end of the world, Ragnarök, they were led by the gods into combat and die. They are off then, like the gods. And when the new world will be created, the ppl will leave underworld to populate the world. Thats the big difference, you dont have to be good or bad to go there. Only dead. Piper
