MagpieLee Report post Posted November 5, 2005 Hello? Am I the only one here that thinks that bread tastes nicest when it is fried!?!?!? Where the flip is that option on the poll! Take a couple of sliced white bread - thickly sliced and lightly buttered, then heat the frying pan on the cooker with a bit of olive oil. Put in the bread and fry the bread on both sides until golden brown. Add salt to taste. There are some variations of frying bread recipies to dipping in milk (tried it, loved it), adding garlic and herbs for fried garlic bread (tried it, loved it) and the elaborate of sizzling some mature chedder on top with spots of worcester sauce. Fried bread is the way forward. Toast is Sooo 2004

Tanyia Report post Posted November 5, 2005 You ppl eat your bread in really fascinating ways. I think I shall conduct a scientific study: The Consumption of Bread By Addicts of the MMORPG 'Eternal Lands' We present a study of the consumption habits of people who play the MMORPG entitled "Eternal Lands." Subjects were studied through a poll in the EL forums, and conclusions were drawn from the responses of the study participants. We conducted a poll as to whether people playing EL toasted, microwaved, or dried their bread, and found that most people had a unique consumption method which was either a variant of or different from the listed options. . . . Conclusions We found that the people playing "Eternal Lands" were avid fans of bread, and that they ate it in really weird ways. Explanations of their eating habits can be traced to the various maps in which they spend most of their time, and to their ebulness level. In short, you guys all really freak me out with your bread eating techniques...

ttlanhil Report post Posted November 6, 2005 get some bread from that magic lamppost, harvest a stick, harvest some logs, buy a fire essence go back to beam, put logs in fireplace, light fire, put bread on stick, hold over fire until it turns a nice brown remove from fire, remove from stick, flavour to taste with fruits/vegetables/potions of seasoning, and enjoy! I suppose that'd be toasted though

Pocal Report post Posted November 17, 2005 I generally toast my bread when i want, well, toast. Or when I had to make my own lunches for school (like everyday!) for certain ones (the frozen sliced meats, think Budding, or salmon) I'd toast my sandwiches to keep the bread from sogging up. I've only microwaved my bread when its toast but I waited too long to butter it and it didn't melt on it. The microwave will melt it for me then. But tastes kinda icky then. Dimov Report post Posted November 19, 2005 I mean liek everyone should microwave his bread. It makes it soft, and tender. Be sure to wrap it in paper tho, since the microwave's magnetron stimulates the motion of water molecules in food, and the kinetic energy from the friction, generated by the H20 molecules, is turned into thermal, which causes water to chage state, in other words your bread will prespire.
