I prefer not to have to ignore anyone. sometimes i need to though. especially bots that say hello every time you go past (salt was fine, because I'd say hi to him everytime i went past. replying is fine. there was a certain bot in VotD that would say hello to everyone going to/from the veggie patch though)

sometimes people just keep pestering me and don't know when to just sut up and stop acting/looking stupid as well

I ignore all bots (i buy stuff from bots, when i want to buy something from them i #unignore), with the notable exception of iknow.

I also ignore beggars or spammers, but unignore them after some time.

Beggers and spammers amuse me too much. Bots are the real ones that annoy me.

I don't like ignoring people, because I don't like being ignored.

Treat people how you would like to be treated.

There's only one on my ignore list currently - Vendor.

Personally, I don't like to ignore anyone. You never know when people may need help, and if you have them ignored, you won't be that helper.

I keep my ignore filter in my brain. :P

I used to ignore people until i was harmed to death once. Now I don't ignore anyone because i've discovered that if you ignore someone, .. you don't see the harm messages.

edit: you also don't see when they've died.. :P

None, as a mod I can't afford to ignore people or I may miss possible abuse. If someone is being enough of a bother where I might need to ignore them, then I have to see if they are breaking rules and take appropriate action.

This may sound funny, but one time I couldn't see anything I typed. Others could see me and reply to me. I had somehow managed to #ignore myself

1 to 5

Was 6 to 10, but unignored 2 people: one spammer mod (because he stopped to use #bc :-) ), and one NH (because i realized he isn't as bad and immature as i though) so only 4 people on list now :-)

Edit: fixed grammar errors

I have 2 people on it right now. Some kid following me for hours asking to buy my clothes. (about 50 lines in my chatlog are just him saying: Please...) And the other is some guy who flamed me for killing him in the wsc arena. :o

0, due to the fact I like all information and if someone is giving me annoying messages or being annoying I can simply mentally block them :hiya: But I have not needed to yet.

Gen_Axis I am curious which Mods/NH's you had on #ignore :P Im fairly sure of one... Too colorful messages...
