bug enter a new map

Recommended Posts

It's fixed on CVS.

If someone is running a recent CVS version and it's still crashing please post here.

Out of curiosity, what excatly was fixed?

Maybe someone can build a new windows client and post here a link to download it?

So that we can get rid of complains about crashes when changing maps.

( I can only build a windows client without music, so sorry  )

I'll just post my client... I'm really starting to miss sadez :)

EDIT:OK, http://rootshell.be/~bremac/Elc.zip

Little change from official CVS is all, and that is it supports the Small AMX to run hello.amx if f9 is pressed. So no changes, really. :D

Under some circumstances the client used data from a previously freed actor.

It says it needs libiconv-2.dll to run.

I'm searching google for it but so far I can't find a place to download it.

I don't have that file and EL runs fine. I redownloaded the full 1.0.1 version of EL and it was not in there either. The closest thing that I have to that is iconv.dll. Maybe you are thinking of that?

I couldn't find any copies of the file that worked on google either. :P

Thanks Sadez. That worked.

I also needed the actors_def directory so I got that and now it works. :(

Time to enter and exit buildings a lot to see if it really is fixed.
