Grum Report post Posted January 20, 2005 (edited) a) Give people some time to respond. Noone is scanning the Help me section continupously to see if there's someone that has a problem. If the download takes long, chances are that the problem is at your end (no abolute certainties though). The only thing you could try is to download from another Mirror. Kamoricks Report post Posted January 21, 2005 whoops i ment 2 and a half not 42 and a half You have dial-up, don't you? If so, the game will always run slow. Not much you can do about it.

I don't think the game causes so much traffic that a dialup modem cannot keep up with it.
Bathory Report post Posted January 22, 2005 I have dial-up, and it's hardly ever slow for me.

Grum Report post Posted January 22, 2005 The solution is to get a broadband connection. Or have someone else download it for you and burn it on CD.

Rofl! if(56.6F < 14.4F) Somehow I doubt that will ever be true...I've got EL running smoothly (for testing purposes) on a 14.4KB/ps modem. A 56.6K is 4 times the necessary amount, and twice the recommended amount.
Grum Report post Posted January 22, 2005 You have a 14k4 modem? On which scrap yard did you find that?
