I suggest you know C/C++ pretty decent before trying to contribute to the client. When that is solid, I'd get a full understanding of how the client works. The client is very complex. Your first challenge if you haven't figured out already is to: pull the repository from Git and compile the client. If that is a relatively easy task for you, I'd say you're on the right track. Anything is possible with dedication

Eh, not a fan. If you decide to log off in a random house and this said random house gets invaded, then it’s just not your lucky day lol. If you’re really worried about dying, store all your stuff in the storage before you log. I guess you’ll lose a little bit of dignity haha. Or if you really want, you can store all of your stuff in the storage, then go into a random house.

This client does not work with Alienware quick keys. I had to revert back to the old client for them to work again.

I'm old...I think O_o

Things were pretty c00l back then. instead of hosting the PK server, host an old skool server with the rules,items, monsters for that time era. It was pretty fun back in those days and it wasn't so easy as it is now to level. And PK was fun and active. you had to work your butt off and spend hours and hours playing. Just a thought. I know my idea won't even be considered, but it was just a thought.
