Oh! Tough as leather, hard as nails, listen as the beaten wolf wails. Who knows what our journey will find? The enemy's bones we'll break and will we'll grind! I know the road may seem rough, but trust me when I say, if we raise our axes and strike, we will beat 'em all away! Oh! Why do we, children of the earth travel over water and stone? Why, we do it to be the best of the best! Better than all the rest! The wind does howl on lonely nights, and we may long for a warm lil' nook. But when the sun rises we may splash around in a warm running brook. Oh the traill runs from hither to yonder, some say it doesn't end. But we'll traverse that distance through flood and drought! We're the best of the best, because we have food and freind! Dwarven Song, Written by Argon Bearstrong

Back in the days of old, around the year 5900 B.G.W., the world was calm and peace was at hand. The creatures were still getting adjusted to the Lands, and the gods were still producing more and fitting them into their surrondings. The Orchans had populated the area of the wild Eastern Islands of Irilion. They, according to current records, had been created in 6000 B.G.W. and were still in a state of anarchy. The villages and settlements were in total chaos, and there were blood-feuds and threats being carried out throughout the Islands. The other races stayed well away from them and their barbaric ways, and the coastal eastern towns were dealing with frequent raids. Then, one red Orchan rose from the chaos with a axe in his hand. His name was Redmoon. Redmoon was born in the northern village of Nargash and was raised in the warrior caste, marked at birth with the red mark of the Blood-Fist Clan. At 4 he held his first sword and at 6 he was already practicing by wrestling pigs. At 7 he started cutting wood, harvesting crops, and other various chores. At 8 he was killing wolves with his bare hands, and at 9 was fighting goblins and various other monstrocities. At 14, he had his Coming of Age ceremony. He was brought to the summit of Mt. Pyron, the local volcano. He threw a sacrficed a boar caught by his own hands as a gift to Glydoc, their patron and supposed creator. After the ceremony, he was accepted into the town millitia. He was given his own armor, and foght gallantly and feircely, climbing the military's ranks to general. At 21, he left the military and went to joining the Peacekeepers, a band of orchans crossing the lands and restoring peace. He rode across the lands until he was 30, and only when he joined the Peacekeepers did he realise the utter chaos the Islands were in. He rised among the ranks of the military, and eventually became a feared but respected leader. He was proud and looked upon, but was wise and not blinded by glory. He then crossed the lands with his mighty axe in hand, restoring peace. He went around with a group of followers, bringing peace to the chaotic villages. He settled feuds, killed savage beasts, and banished raiders and outlaws. He was claimed cheif of the Orchans of the East, and led campaigns to bring peace to the other people of Irilion, even the Elves. He led battles against invaders and fought traitors. He settled a small village on one of the islands and it was named Southern Redmoon Island in his honor. In his last battle on the Mountain of Sorrow, the Orchans were attacked by a great army that conquered the Orchans with their great numbers. But Redmoon stood his ground with a small band of followers upon the peak, and fought to his last breath. The Orchans fled, and he raised his mighty axe and defeated the enemy, but at a cost. He was stabbed in the heart, and with his last breath, roared his famous war-cry that had made many enemies tremble. That day the mountain shook at his loss, and the day is mourned and remembered by the Orchans of the East. This is the tale of Redmoon, cheif of the Orchans. Grishmak, Orchan Lore-Keeper (If you have any suggestions or edits or anything you want done with the story, just tell me.)

The devs have more important things to do first, they will get to animations eventually. -
I was looking for A History of our Lands but it says the link is to old, and when I look for it on search, it doesn't turn up. Where is it? Can I have a link to it?

Argon the Dwarf was wrestling with a boar in his home lands, Myandar, Valley of the Dwarves. "C'mon ye' giant pig, yea' won't bother my beer kegs again!" He grabbed it's tusks and flipped it over his back. The boar flew through the air and fell on a wolf. Both the wolf and the boar died, and Argon dusted his hands. "Well, back to guarding the gold-miners." He picked up his steel axe and equipment, but then saw a white-cloaked figure. "Well that's odd." He followed the fellow to a house, then stopped and put his ear to the door as it closed behing the mysterious man.

He hem, yes, you can time-travel, there is no such thing as a white-hole, it involves particle accelrators and time and space and etc, you use a wormhole to travel in time, and the singularity is right. I read a book on this. And yes, it explains paradoxs, so that's why you can't travel back in time from the time you created the wormhole. Example: You make a wormhole in 2010. You keep it alive for 100 years. If you enter it in 2110, you'd go back to the time of it's creation, 2010. About the paradoxs, that's why things like this are discounted for.

Newbies die already at the hands of the Whitestone gargoyles and Portland goblins, not to mention Mother Nature using lethal force to defend her lilacs. (I nearly quit over that myself. Bee stings to discourage AFK harvesting are one thing; making me lose an hour's flowers was uncalled for. But that's another rant.) At least under the proposed change newbies that previously couldn't afford the Monster Magnetism perk or cape have some hope now. Dave Can't blame ya'. I was a newb and while harvesting lilacs lost 3000gc. Better or more realistic? People won't be so happy over lengthened time to make things and etc. You will hear complaints, mark my words Roja, and certaintly dissaproval. Realism isn't so bad, but if it makes the gme any harder, I'll scream <_< If you think differently, fine by me, but don't blame me if I play EL less and less, until I leave my beloved EL and my friends

As Shadowbane in his glimering white cloak strode with Aethal behind him, was aware of someone watching him, the following him. He than suddenly teleported behind the follower. He saw the follower was confused and then he crept up to him and put a white-hot sword to the antagonist's neck. "Solos, it is foolish to stalk people in these dangerous, uncertain times," said Shadowbane with a grin.

C'mon, keep the caps and perks the way they are Besides, the people who spent the money a pickpoints would be mighty pissed if it didn't work the way they wanted.
-
I vote no, because you'd have to carry alot when exploring and it would only work for a while. Why not just have a all-lasting perk and/or cloak?
-
"I am Shadowbane, herald of the Black Draegoni. This amulet I found many eons ago started to glow and heat up, and guided me here with a voice."
-
I was exploring Trassian and whenI entered one of the secrets, the tele-portal out was gone. So, if you go there, you'd be stuck. I'll keep you posted, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Same for another Trassian secret, the one with ogre and roses.

((Well thanks Pocal, now I'm feeling like a mule's arse ))

Well, not everyone has tele-rings or the money to get through this. Also, not everyone has MM perk/cape. Some people got really frustrated. The timespan was also quite short. RPing is the life for me. For all I care, King David and his kingdom can rot away into a puddle of filth <_<

Later the next day, The_Piper was announcing a contest. "Come one and all! He who can find the jewel monkeys of Kusamura will win the prize of 20 thermal serpent swords from Shadowbane. He will be supplying the money to go to Irilion and will give help along the quests. Come one and all! Meet him at the Seridia/Irilion Docks!".
