Ok, so on the 7 March, it will be my birthday, and as a celebration, I think we should have a DPA competition, in the under 40s Arena. DPA King of the Ring #3 Only found two other King of the Rings on Forum, so welcome No. 3 #EDIT# Snaps and Video from Competition: Pic 1 Video 1 General Info: It will be purely for fun Thank you to busterblader, who donated 50kgc towards creating a prize for the competition (if you wish to donate, PM me). Desert Pines Arena(s) are all non-drops, so you have nothing to loose, and provides safe spectatorship for all non-participants. Newbies and lower levels are wanted, along with high level PKers. Let's all have some fun \o/ Rules: No Engineering items (Wards, Bombs, etc) No leaving/entering arena after competition starts No purposely trying to avoid fair competition (thanks to CherUT for telling me about this) Weak weapons and purposely avoiding killing someone in a fight (unless trying to flee), and any other act that might be determined as an attempt at cheating. No hypering bags prior to event and using during competition or muling into DPA to increase your resources (Thanks to Rabbitman for making me aware of this possibility ) None of the following armor/weapons are allowed: Titanium Greave of Mirroring Titanium Cuisses of Cooldown Removal Titanium Plate Mail of Freezing Steel Greaves of Ubber Defense Steel Cuisses of Mana Drain Steel Plate Mail of Healing Titanium Shield of Life Drain (Thank you Kricket for pointing this out, I forgot about it ) Orc Slayer of Mana Nullification Cutlass of the Mage Jagged Saber of Cooling Emerald Claymore of Life and Mana Rapier of Death Branch of Destruction Normal Branch Golden Star Mace Sunbreaker of Destruction Eagle Wing of Extra Damage (If there is a typo in one of these special weapons, or I have missed a special weapon, do not bring it! OK, I go to standard instance (80100) often enough, and I act as the secondary target, using about 60 of the 90 SRs I use (distracting stuff while rest of teams finishes of the naspa/yeti/chitros). And I don't see many teams going more than once a week in this range, on the whole it is by your #ii. Even when I tank in invances, this perk would not save me enough gc to make it worth it. Most Pots I've used in on day of playing is 300, that's with invance, instance and training. Still see no point. soz

But, but... that's not an achievement But maybe every 200 picks you break, you can go to quest NPC to get a little harv exp. not too bad an idea.

AFAIK, summoned dragons are not protected in any means from invasion dragons smiting them. (joked that CherUT should summon draggies in invance, and was told it would be waste due to smite summons )

That would include ring of disengagement... nice during invasions and such... And not sure that I would consider teleport rings 'combat' items (for one, they cannot be used while fighting) And would you include potions like potion of spirit restoration, and essences? Also items, used in combat and disposable (or at least single use). potions and essies are essential you needs to yous srs & FE's etc to survive in EL world if you was a eco warrioir type you would be worried about unnessasary usage of resources, single use combat items and tele rings primarily. this perk should give you all vials back from all potions drunk ( recycling ftw o/ ) if you wers green minded and eco warrioir type you would re-use all vials no matter how disgusting the previous potion was so to sum it up Eco Warrior Perk means you are unable to use single use combat items but giefs you all vials back after drinking the potion Edited cus im shmexxy ... Dis rings are disposable combat items, pretty much needed for it. And I doubt anyone would relinquish their ability to dis and save themselves a rostogol to get a handful of vials. Idea is flawed.

Bronzes are allowed, as has been previously said. No rules against summoning, but remember competition is in DPA

Ja ja! More useful is (very) small chance that potion will be used, but not disappear. Even then, PP wise, it wouldn't be worth it (and recycling day means that idea won't be implemented either).
