    Main problem is that we don't want to make it too easy to spam the same message everywhere. Another issue is that noone has submitted a patch that does this...

    Brom, try it on the test server now, I'm fairly sure I fixed it. Furthermore remember to look in your storage - if it fails to add it to the inventory and you have access to storage trading, then it will put your items in the storage instead.

    I don't see a benefit. Problem is that you have to drag and drop between your inventory and the storage - if the storage window was larger, it would be a tedious task.

    Greetings all, Today was the first day on my new university - the Danish Technical University. I started the day on the software technology bachelor course, but had over the last week decided to switch to chemical engineering. So today I switched to chemical engineering and bought the books for this topic. It looks rough, but I'm confident I'll manage without too much hassle - I have so far anyway =) Good luck you all with your studies. /Wytter

    Lyn - yea, I know that it's hard - we have the most scheduled hours this semester (30 hours a week + all the homework/studying). Still I think this is the most interesting bachelor line on my uni. A chemical engineer works in many different places - could be a research facility or factory, as a scientist or leader, medicine, environmental research or of course teaching. There are many niches in chemistry like bio-chem, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical/quantum chemistry. Will find my niche over the next years Could also work with things that doesn't directly have anything to do with chemistry - the university has a quite wide range of courses that we can choose from.

    Fortunately it means that you can believe in what you want to, as long as it makes sense in your heart, my friend However, I think it's very important to realize that the only truth is inside you and what you feel, not in some book written and edited by humans. I believe that if there is a God, she would have putten what you should believe and the right answers in inside you.

    I believe in what my heart tells me is true - that's the only place to find the answer to i.e. "Why are we here" that will help you living your life.

    Yes, it does waste polygons. Once the next map format with terrain support is ready that problem will be fixed.

    We are using SDL to set the video mode and the fullscreen mode - so this is most likely a bug in SDL rather than a bug in EL. Did you compile SDL with xinerama support?

    Music runs in a different thread called music_thread. It is created in main.c - perhaps you should look a bit into how often that thread accesses the variables set with kill_local_sound();

    It's best to just copy the Makefile.linux to Makefile, then you can edit it without ever have errors when merging with the CVS. Just remember to keep it up to date when adding new files etc.

  25. Illarion vs. EL

    We never claim to be the best mmorpg out there - but we are working on becoming better and 1.0.2 is definately a step in the right direction. But 2.0 will blow your mind Anyway, EL is not as focused on true, consistent roleplaying as Illarion - why? Because we don't want to push it upon people - sure they'll get information from the storyline, quests that are consistent with the storyline, and we tend to hint people to get into the EL universe. But it's not out job to make sure that people are roleplaying - as long as they have fun, we're glad
