Then you are not running the binary from the right directory... Try running it from the directory containing e3dlist.txt
-
And what does your ~/.elc/error_log.txt say?
-
Is the #data_dir variable ~/.elc/el.ini pointing to the directory containing the EL data?
-
It should use XML and not EML. No need to add EML support to the client for this.

Greetings all, I've re-created the object browser in order to make it more useful and easier to configure. The object browser will be used for 2D, 3D objects and particles. http://wytter.tfm.ro/elc/object_browser.jpg The object browser uses the following XML format for defining the menus: http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/....viewcvs-markup The object IDs are the ones found in the e2dlist.txt, e3dlist.txt and particlelist.txt: http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/....viewcvs-markup http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/....viewcvs-markup http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/....viewcvs-markup the <object> tag has the following attributes: <object id="36" scale="1.0" rot_x="35" rot_y="33" rot_z="33"> But the rotations are only active for 3D objects. You must specify a id="<object_id>" for all objects the rest of the attributes are optional.

The 3D object and particle browser now works: http://wytter.tfm.ro/elc/particle_browser.jpg As you can see you can choose the tile behind the particles. This makes it easier to see some of them. If you havent selected a tile it'll just use the default grass (1). http://wytter.tfm.ro/elc/3d_browser.jpg I need a volounteer for creating the browser xml-files. Is anyone up for the task? browser3d.xml: http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/....viewcvs-markup browserparticle.xml: http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/....viewcvs-markup

Lumen made some icons for it: http://wytter.tfm.ro/elc/map_icons.jpg You need to place: http://wytter.tfm.ro/elc/mapedit_buttons.bmp in your textures directory

The new map editor is not functional enough for actually creating maps... But hopefully it will be soon I want to make maps as well now ;-)

I don't think there should be a #sizeup command. They have to do the risk evaluation themselves
-
I don't have the icons for it yet Sist

Great job. I added a list of the official developers over time.
-
yea, that can be done Petersohn, that's the map editor in the 1.1.2 distribution, not the one we're discussing here.
-
Here's an updated pic: http://wytter.tfm.ro/elc/new_map.jpg It now handles creating new maps, opening old maps, saving maps, changing the dungeon state and changing the time. Otherwise its still just moving around.
-
Thanks, I fixed it in CVS.
-
Don't think it'll look very elegant Brom.

Tried downgrading your video drivers?
