Maybe it's actually possible that being nice means more to some people than money. Even in EL, there are things money cannot buy. It's a game, not an extension of real life . Yep its a game, so we should all try and have fun. and if a smple act of kindness can improve that fun on both sides then sounds good to me. Problem with that is, Bethel is home to some nasty natural critters (clops and desert chimmies) that will likely get you as well as the Invasion critters would.

Players start in channel 1 at creation Which is the best place for them, i dont think starting in channel 2 would be a good idea. However sometimes channel 4 or even to some degree 6 is a good place to ask questions about spending pick points, there are so many varied answers to that, the debate that it creates is good for them and even older players to see other peoples views on it after all thats one area where as much infomation as possible is best (as long as its real advise and not the typical dumb ass answers) but generally yes a polite point to newbie help or channel 2 is best imo

at log in can you get to the options page? next to the new character button? if so enter options make sure full screen is off and then exit and resrtart see if that helps... if that doesnt work you can try turning of some of the graphics options and see if it will let you play (turning poor man on is a good way to start as it turns a lot of automaticly) You could try entering the el config file (my documents/eternal lands/main/el.config) if you scroll down youll find the following make sure the line #full_screen says 0 and not 1 Id give the uninstall and reisntall a go. Do you know what the graphics card is? and are you running the latest drivers for it?

Nice. Can always try joker hunting a tavern crawl might be able to earn some gc if you buy and sell npc only books to antisocials.. would take a bit of work to get the gc to start with or a good bit of dilpomacy for them to give you the gc first and a small collectors commision. but its possible.

Firstly thank you for openly admitting the issues, you'd be surprised at how far a little honesty goes and imo it shows a strong sense of character from you not quite as honest as you seemed whilst this doesnt change the end result it does mean in my future dealings with if if there are any i shall not be as inclined to be as nice or sympathetic. A reminder that when talking to people honesty is the best policy...generally people will treat you with the respect you show them. now to the matters at hand We have a policy that all locked characters remain locked for one month there is no getting around this. you can read that here http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41193 You can wait to possibly have 1 of these characters unlocked after 1 month or you can make a new character to play...however i must insist that you have NO alts. You are only allowed 1 character from now on. If i find that you are making multiple characters again, and or cheating with them we will have to relook at this situation with possibly more drastic action. If you choose to make a character to play during this time and then request one of the others unloked after the month is ended the character you are currently playing will be locked so as to not break the limitiation of only a single character. Looking at your characters i doubt youll have much of a problem getting a new character upto and possibly even better that your previous ones with in a month. but the choice is up to you. kay lets break this down a bit. dwarfking,mastercrafter,proteusmax were first they were caught for trading illegally then you came back on ghostofdk,and kingofman and these also were caught for the same issue. not for both being online at the same time This means you can not drop bags on the ground for your alts to pick up thats the same as trading with them

Did you try the poor man option? Also the error log would be helpful, that usually sheds some light on the problem

Well first we dont recover passwords. The bossman might for a fee...but im quite sure you would need to know the user name for it. However they are currently on holiday so you might have a bit of a wait in either case
