That's it. Books are harder work to get through than movies or games because you have to actively use your imagination to make the words become alive in you head; with movies and games everything is handed down to you from the start. But the thing is, with book your imagination is not limited by the imagery of others, you can make a book your own far more than you can make a movie your own. Plus, everything start with words, movies or games start with words, you d really miss something if you choose to skip this step altogether. I don't know if the HP books were never meant to be children-books, I for one don't know anyone under 14 reading them. On the other hand, I'm not sure darker, more mature subjects mean automatically that it's not for children, it's more about how the authors deals with those subjects. I love the HPverse for it's colorfulness and creativity but it's not the sort of books that I can say they changed my vision of the world, they are after all pretty cliched with no true meaningor depht. That's why I was sort of dissapointed by the HPB, as you said, she didn't add to the HPverse with more new inventions and characters, but focused instead on developping the existing characters and plot. But if I wanted to read about juvenile romances or suspense I would go for Tougeniev or Stevenson, not for Rowling. I think the Potter hype is going to die with the next and last book, there is no way Rowling is going to live up to the expectation.

EL is my first MMORPG. Actuality I found EL by googling 'MMORPG' because I didn't know what it meant.

Yesterday I caught a cough. A really annoying full of yellow phlegm cough. I had to spit every 5 minutes or so. There was this graded glass (eng? one of those milk mesuring thingies to make cakes) lounging on my desk (why it was there I don't know) and since it was handy I started to spit in it. I reached nearly 25cl through 7 hours of EL and 16 chapters of Süskind (average reading speed=1 page every 100 fe's) before I went to bed. Added 5cl since I get home today. Stopped smoking and started taking homeopathic pills, will go see the doctor if if I reach the pint. I hope this is random enough.

Könnte sich eine Beleidigung andere als Scheisse mir beibringen? Strangely the only thing I remember clearly from my years of german in shcool is the sentence 'Mama, Mama! Meine Kanischen! Es ist töt!' ...go figure

My favorite superhero has always been Batman (the cutest, the smartest) and if I had to choose a superpower I would pick his too: being rich The one power I wouldn't like to have is immortality, I imagine it being really tiring and depressing. What kind of goal in life an immortal could work out for himself anyway? Wouldn't even be worth it to wake up and go out of bed in the morning since he would know for sure that he'll be around for the next sunrise, and the next, and the next... The only advantage I find to immoratility is being able to be around to see when and where It All Ends. But then arises the difficult question of what becomes of you when All Have Ended, since immortal you, per definition, can't end.

Lol, somehow seeing the title 'The way I want the wold to be' I was expecting more something like 'peace around the world, food for all, etc'. Well, I wouldn't want to live in your world.
