  1. Crit fails counter

The problem is, we only get 'Summoning failed, and ingredients lost...' as message, not WHAT failed.
  2. 1.9.2 won't open

As already mentioned this is a problem with OSX 10.4 :=(( I'll try to fix it on monday...
  3. 1.9.2 won't open

I'll look into it and try to build a 10.4 compatible version next week, though it IS built as 10.4 universal binary. It's not a PPC problem, because I built that client on an old PPC Mac; OSX 10.5 is the last version that supports PPC.
  4. For people with problems with version 1.9.2

Please check if #data_dir in your el.ini in ~/.elc/main folder points to the folder where you installed the new client. The effects you describe sound like you are using old data files with the new client.
  5. 1.9.2 Update

That's the new alternative to 'Resyncing...' :=))
  6. 1.9.2 Update

a green number is 'last material points gained' a red number is 'last material points lost' if there were no changes to the points within some time (2 minutes iirc) then nothing is displayed
  7. Current CVS errors (1.9.1)

Same problem on OSX, so please remove memmem() as it's not a standard function.
  8. Change to #know

    very helpful
  9. #marks view on the continent maps

I updated the patch; marks filter work now...
  10. [patch] Ranging window

    nice one :=))
  11. #marks view on the continent maps

I've put a patch on berlios, that implements (read only) map marks on the continent maps. Only personal #mark entries are shown, no server marks.
  12. EL 1.9.2 RC2

A RC2-client for Mac OSX (universal binary) can be downloaded here.
  13. Another client patch

I've put an updated MAC-Testclient online, as the problem got fixed (the client now needs a restart to activate antialiasing modechanges).
  14. Another client patch

Was it crashing while trying to switch between anti-aliasing modes or later during normal play?
  15. Another client patch

A current test-client for Mac OSX (universal binary) can be downloaded here.
  16. eye candy improvments

The new 2D objects aren't available yet, so the black squares will remain until all data-files are updated and ready for download (maybe in the next release of the test-client).
  17. Client patch for Windows and Linux data (V2)

A current test-client for Mac OSX is here.
  18. Client patch for Windows and Linux data

A test-client for Mac OSX is available here.
  19. Client patch for Windows and Linux data

Please post no errors or questions about custom clothing in this thread as custom clothing is UNOFFICIAL and these posts are likely to be deleted. The sizes of some clothes have changed. So you can't use the new data (provided in this thread) with the old client and vice versa. That's why your client crashes if you use the new data files with a client compiled without NEW_TEXTURES. If you want to test the new client with custom clothing, delete the 'custom' folder and change the server in 'custom_mirrors.lst' to 'advs1.gm.fh-koeln.de' (this is a temporary server for testing the new client). edit:
  20. Valentine’s Hyerpbag Hunt!

    7) You are in [61,80] (no mapname; EVTR Red Witch) 5 chrysanthemums, 5 impatiens, 2 blue lupines
  21. where have all the bots gone?

A snow storm killed the connection to the bot-server; the company works at it...
  22. EL 1.9.1 RC1 released

Here is an EL 1.9.1 RC1 client for MacOS X.
  23. More minor graphic alignments

I've played a bit with those numbers but it looks like there is no value that works for ALL icons: when the fox fur is correct, the toads are wrong and so on :=(( looking at the images, the correct value SHOULD be 50/256 as there are 5 icons in a 256 pixel .bmp with blank pixels at the end. this problem also affects the quickbar and the inv-window (only big, not small inv-window); in both the fox fur isn't displayed correctly (sto-window and bags look fine). could this be a scaling-problem? it looks like the grid-size is different for every window...
  24. Client update test

Here is the Test-Client for MacOS X. Achievements are enabled and it's an universal binary.
