I built the map editor for Windows using the MinGW environment that I also use for the GL2 client. After updating the Makefile.win it compiled without problems and runs fine...

Donated some amber... I am trying to make a special potion. I need 200 Ice Dragon Scale of which I have 37, 1200 Amber and I have 1006, 3 Pear of which I already have 0, and finally, 7 Grapes of which I already have 7.

That looks like either a firewall-problem or (more likely) your provider blocking port 2000/tcp, so you can't connect to the el-server... You can try the following: open a Terminal-window and type 'telnet game.eternal-lands.com 2000' If you don't get a response from the game-server you should ask your provider, if he blocks that port.

Try the following: Delete your personal EL folder (~/Library/Application Support/Eternal Lands) and download the game again. If it still crashes, please post the contents of ~/Library/Application Support/Eternal Lands/log/main_xxx.log.

Try to disable the animation program, either in the options screen in the login-window or in el.ini (the one in your personal main folder, NOT in the el program folder).

Donated an orange and a few ogre toes. I am trying to make a special potion. I need 70000 Ogre Toes of which I have 40034, 80000 Toadstool and I have 68958, 3 Pear of which I already have 3, and finally, 25 Orange of which I already have 17.

No, the Enhanced Unicorn Medallion only needs 1 Silver Medallion and the Enhanced Sun Medallion needs 1 Gold Medallion( and a few other ings).

Did you only copy the new binary after compile or also the new shaders from the 'shaders' subfolder of the git sourcefolder? When compiling the client yourself, always check, if there are new shaders, too!

Something with the driver update went wrong and you are now using the windows default driver, which doesn't work with EL. Try to install the graphics driver from the vendor website again.

Yes, Anti-Aliasing is also used in the HUD atm. 'Options -> Video -> Anti-Aliasing x0' should make the interface look as usual.

Did you update your video drivers? NOT through windows update; you need current drivers from the ATI website.

I had that problem too, when i was on 10.4 ~1 year ago. Try changing the camera angle with the cursor up/down keys, that worked for me in most cases. But the real solution for me was to upgrade to 10.5, never had this problem again since I use 10.5...

A recompile on 10.7 may help but I don't have it; though it is not a general solution to that problem, as the client is compiled for 10.4 for maximum backwards compatibility. I'll try to catch you in-game for further discussion...
