That is not a bug but intentional to not break this substitution.

The meds changed with the last server update (1 week ago).

Fixed. Ty for reporting.

The log indicates a graphic driver problem, EL doesn't really find a usable OpenGL (even though you listed OpenGL in your post), which is also the reason for the full-screen display, as it can't switch to a windowed mode. Are these the current drivers from the ATI website? A quick google check showed lots of OpenGL problems with the ATI RADEON 9800 PRO, maybe you find there a solution...

The client has context menus nearly everywhere. Putting all those options into the main option-window would overload it and context-menus are a common way to add options to objects they affect. An option affecting all dialogs belongs into the options-window for sure but an option that only affects one specific dialog?
-
This (autoselect storage) has been implemented nearly 1.5 years ago, 'auto close sto npc window' even earlier. Both are options in the context menu of that dialog.
-
You need two el-clients for that (a copy of your client in a different folder should work).
-
This is technically not a bug, as the list of known books is client-side. Whenever Radu releases a new client, this list is updated --> the client knows about all books that were known when 1.9.3 was released.

This is not a bug and was reported and explaind several times, for example here.

The difference between the 2 calculations is that the first one gives out the float value ([PM from Josi: 101 Fire Essence @ 2.55gc = 257.55gc]), only the final gold coin calculation gives out an integer. As Learner alredy explained, the problem is the conversion itself; float or even double are simply not that precise for financial calculations.

Try to update your graphics drivers (not windows update but from the website of the graphic card vendor).

Here is the OpenGL 2 client for Windows.

Apparently all crashes are in the Apple sound system, so it's hard to track that down to a specific part of EL but maybe an EL sound developer can look into it, though i doubt it is a general EL problem. Hopefully there will be an update from Apple soon; until then, disable sound should avoid these crashes.

There is no 'degrade level': an item is either degraded or not, nothing in between.

Are you sure you put them into the correct place? Sound is already part of the Mac client, only music needs to be downloaded separately; so, as you hear sound, I assume the music folder is not in the correct place...

You can try 'Options -> Troubleshoot -> Poor Man' (control+o in-game or the 'Settings' button in the login screen).

Both use zlib 1.2.3 This is not a general problem, the client is tested on 10.6.8 and works there. To get more information, I requested a debug-log via forum-pm...
-
I tested the client on an iMac with 10.6.8 and it worked fine. Do you have any info about the crash (where it happens) from the crash-report?
-
You can change the data_dir entry as you posted but it's only a warning and the client finds the correct one (the one in the application). I see nothing unusual in that log but i wonder about the log itself; which file is that? The logs from the current client are in the ~/Library/Application Support/Eternal Lands/log/ folder; the most interesting file should be 'main_xxx.log' there.
