Aislinn, i'm sure some other mages would feel the same if the power of thier spells were decreased, it's not just about 'me' but all mages. I'm sure alot of ppl would be alittle bit peeved if they had spent their time building their char a particular way only to have it changed to make them weaker in some form or another, kinda defeats the object of being selective where one places PPs. My comments weren't intended to come across as arrogant or 'i'm not having my char changed cos some wanna PK' kinda thing Saxum, Do you really think PK is fun when your killing someone 40/50 lvl below you? Wouldn't it be more of a challenge if you had to fight someone that's within your a/d range? & i'm sure it's not fun for those low lvlers that want to learn PK but sadly never stay alive long enough to even see a fight let alone join in with one. That's probably why so many give up on PK before they have even begun.

Personally i think PK is dead because you have certain ppl who kill everyone & anyone just because they can & like others have said, those that want to try PK, give up cos they have had enough of not being given the chance to fight others at thier lvl, yes there are capped arenas but even in those low lvlers still get owned by higher chars, you'll always get some that will kill just for the sheer hell of it & that will never change no matter what you do. As for mages being over powered, too bloody right! I haven't spent years playing & placing my PPs on a mage build just to have my power/spells decreased or capped in some way. I don't PK but like to have a play at it now & then, i'm not much of a fighter or ranger but my magic is the one thing that helps balance things alittle in my favour. Like Calipher said, use MI & a mage doesn't have much hope against you. The only suggestion i can make to try & balance things out abit is put a cap on who you can attack i.e. you are unable to attack anyone who is 50 lvl below you or something like that, that would give those lower lvlers the chance to pk without the worry of being killed the second they step foot in a PK map & high lvlers will just have to pick on someone thier own size

I agree, we do need some new spells. Over time every skill has had new additions eccept magic, i can't recall the last time we had a new spell. I like the ideas, would give those with mage builds the opportunity to put their power to full use Personally would love to see a new spell.. 'Morph' turns your opponent into a boar, doesn't work against MI, wouldn't that be fun

Greetings EL Cronus & I had an idea for a PK event & we would like to hear your thoughts & suggestions, we have never done anything like this before, so your input would be appreciated... DPA Tag Team PK.. This will be a guild vs guild event, 3 members per team, only 1 from each team will be fighting at any one given time. You can diss & tag another team member as often as you want/need, to continue fighting that opponent but if you do diss, a different member of your team has to fight. You can trade within your own team but no trading with someone outside the arena, It will be a fight to the death or till your resorces run out. If you walk out of the arena then that player is out of the contest. Trading with someone outside the arena will result in your team being disqualified. EVERY team member must fight, using a 3rd team member as only extra emu for resorces, will result in your team being disqualified. Once you have been killed, that player is out of the contest (along with all the resorces they may have on them) hehehe All armours/weapons would be allowed except items such as OSoMN, Ti shield of LD etc No Brod, range, summons, mines or wards. Guilds will be randonly selected to fight another, so you could end up facing friends/allies. Once all teams have competed, the winning teams will then be randomly selected to fight another, so on & so forth, till we have only 2 teams remaining & then a winner. Prizes will go to winning team, runners up & a third prize will go to a randomly selected team. (prizes determined if it goes ahead) As i said before, this is a suggestion atm & subject to change on peoples views, ideas, as for being a guild vs guild event (if it does go ahead) we are hoping ppl will join in with the spirit of the things & use your actual guild members & not join a guild just for the event to create a stronger team. IF multiplaying was allowed, you could have one alt harvesting for your main, one mixing blah blah blah, your main would reap all the benefits. No more worries of finding that extra gc to buy items, no hassle of searching for bots to buy items you need, the added benefits of any rostos or any stone your alt(s) may find etc etc Would make the daily grind alot easier. But... ..Doesn't a game become boring if it's made too easy?

To save all the hassel of certain invances being run more than others & people missing out on joining invances, surely it would make sense to inplement a cool down period...you can not enter until x amount of hours has passed. With that in place, 60-80s or 120+ can be run several times a day & everyone gets a chance to join in no matter what your time zone is & of course no items can be used to lower the cool down period. I know this idea has been mention'd before & to me would solve alot of the issues that have arisen since the invances were introduced into game.

Now why am i not surprised your first suggestion is pizza lol but i like the idea. Perhaps a high pot lvl needed to make food that gives eg 70 food & would be good to find a use for bread & i don't mean making garlic bread to go with the pizza hehehe There should be some high grade food to go with the Big Belly perk.

When the Rad Rapier was first introduced into game, i'm sure similar things were said about that weapon, over powered blah blah blah but casting radiation protection soon renders that weapon more or less useless. The OSoMN is a powerful weapon, EMPs, MD, Magic protection are some ways to help counteract it's effects & i have no doubt there are other ways, they just need to be tried & tested. Just because a player is using one, doesn't mean they will get that deadly mana depleating hit & there isn't that many in game anyway. I have been hit by one before & managed to survive it, the same as anyone could...besides, if you do get killed by someone using it, it's most likely on a no drops map (so you won't lose anything) & it's not like your gonna wake up the next day with a black eye or a busted lip. It's part of the PK fun...OSoMN..wants one

I voted never, i don't agree with the passes, with all the dailies, quests etc that we have in game now gaining xp is alot easier to come by than it ever was before. If Haidir gives a good daily then thats a bonus (especially if on Tzu) but if you get a bad one, then i think we should just have to deal with it. Sorry folks, i know alot of you will disagree with me but that's my opinion.

With your alch lvl, making FEs imo is the best option, quick todo, chance of enriched & you'll never have a problem selling them. I was always mixing/selling FEs when i started out, hell i still do now if i want to make some quick cash (is one of the strange few that enjoys making FEs) I would suggest save mixing HEs/Bars etc until your lvl is abit higher, @37 you will get alot of critical fails. Gossip did a great job when she was in game & was missed by all when she had her break down, then came along Mercator, who more or less did the same as Gossip except for 'admire' which was the one thing i saw most ppl moan about. Scafativ & VinoVeritas have both provided a service for all of ELers & at no benefit or gain for themselves. Come on people, join in with me here.. Thank You to you both

Devnul, I agree, the time added for allowing such options could make the event too long...perhaps only allow 1 diss per player per round? & trades can only be done while 1 team member is fighting? (open to suggestion) Aravinth, the 2 guilds that are called to compete will be inside the arena & reamin there, 1 from each team fighting & the other 2 from each team, sat waiting to be tagged.

Thanks for the warning roman Sadly it will happen from time to time, a new player/guildie will take advantage of others & their good nature but lets not try and paint all newbies with the same brush, there are some good ones out there. Perhaps when a new player/guildie asks to borrow an MM cape or what ever, maybe a guildie or two could spare a few minutes & go with that person to protect them, rather than handing over such items..their response to that offer is normally a good indication as to whether their intentions are genuine or not
