You get one GIANT drop over there, fills 1/4 the screen maybe.
-
Or maybe just move their light modifiers back to old values. I think radu about choked when he realized camo cape and ninja tunic stacked, and their powers were reduced shortly thereafter.
-
Gratz, I tried a handful of others. Glacmor just didn't seem to fit Radu's style. Guess it really did.
-
I'm still interested...
-
I keep my offer the same.
-
This seems to be a hot item. I offer 10kgc for it. It's well below your opening bid, but it's an offer.
-
If I pay 320kgc for this coupon, I'm not really getting a discount. I think it's going to have to sell for significantly less to be attractive.
-
I think this price is too high. The actual value of the coupon is only US$40. Even if I purchase it, it means I ALSO have to fork out $160 for the blessings. If you don't get any bids, send me a message and we'll see if we can make a deal. And if you DO, gratz!

Uhmmm, nice. I was closing in on it, with the scrooge translation, but I didn't recognize the castle. :-( Gratz idefix!

Maybe we should remove NMT completely. Seriously, the idea depresses me. I finally got enough gc in sto to where I can seriously think about saving up for NMT, and now it might be breakable. :-( But then it drops more often, so prices goes down? Or price goes up, because ppl hoard it because it's breakable? Or will we soon see NMT at 35kgc?! :-) I wish it could stay the same, but this game will always be changing.

Welcombe back, DG, long live HOLY!

Congratz, Enly (no surprise)! And great job Usl and Wolfwitch for making it happen!

People spend enormous amounts of time harvesting massive numbers of items for big projects. If I harvested 100k of something, then 100k of another thing, then 100k of one more item only to find I now had only 80k of the first thing in sto, I'd quit.

kk i offer 5kgc.

Need some kind of proofs, Hussam ;p Here are a few snaps from my current session. Hopefully this will be 'evidence' enough to keep the thread intact.

About two months after I started playing EL, I accidentally mapwalked onto a bag of magic ess ings belonging to dan13l. I clicked on the map, went afk for some reason (probably dinner, idk), and ended up watching a movie with my daughter. Two hours later, you can imagine what things dan13l and his friends were saying about me - 8k worth of ings, gone. I had no idea it had happened. I was pretty embarrassed, and upset that with such a short time in EL, I might be labeled a bagjumper. I had held off joining a guild, so I had nobody to speak for me. I did the only thing I could do, which was to harvest and replace all that dan13l had lost. With my 120 EMU, getting 8k lilacs and 8k impatiens took me many hours of nonstop point and click, but I replaced what I could, and dan13l discounted the 1-2k emeralds he said he lost, since I couldn't get them. At that time, dan13l was in the guild HD, and told me he was an honorable player, and he forgave me, and said he would smooth things over with HOLY, who were somehow involved (joint project maybe). HOLY had like 150 players in their guild, and seemed to me, a total n00b, not a guild I wanted to piss off. I was happy to have found my way through a potentially tough situation. So today, when dan13l invisibly sat on a bag that MWAR and *LN* were working in EVTR mine, which had 3k fe's and ings for 4k more, I asked him to please step off. I reminded him of what happened those many months ago, and again asked him to please give our things back. I went back through my chat logs and found the logs of that day, just to confirm that it was in fact dan13l who was involved. It was. Some of our 'younger' guildies worked hard to mix those fe's to gain some alch exp. The rest of us spent time harvesting. Things got a bit out of hand, and Molime was called to the scene to deal with the part of the mess that was OUR fault. Sorry about that Molime, ppl get pissed, they do stupid things. The end result was that dan13l got some alch exp mixing our things, and eventually the bag poofed, bringing this sad story nearly to its end. I know the rules, I know that bagjumping isn't illegal. We all know that using a bag to mix is risky. Still, people do it, and hope for the best. This was a very disappointing event. I have banned dan13l and the members of his guild from Alice. It's really all I can do, we don't have the power to do much more. I will lift the ban if dan13l returns what we lost, which dan13l himself said was: "dan13l: 4.5k fe ingreds and 3.3k fe 377 meat". For the other players who were present, to those who supported us, I thank you, and to those we pissed off, I apologize.

Just out of curiosity, how does new player get onto pk server and actually level? Seems like it might be hard to do if you are busy getting killed all the time by ppl with 100+ a/d. I only imagine the whole of the game being as friendly as kf is. Nobody chats, they see you, kill you, no contest. Doesn't sound like much fun to me. But, since I'm not pk server player, I can't really have an opinion. Oh, and I guess this reply is off-topic. Sorry.

Wait, you can get those gems OUTSIDE of rd cave?

But there ARE unlimited iron ores silly... just not at the cost you WANT to pay... it's called the NPC. We want X exp or drops p/h. You want iron ore at X cost/time. If, by your argument, it's fine for us to go train some creature that gives us way less exp or drops, then by the same argument it's fine for you to go buy the ore at the NPC, no? You're so happy for us to sacrifice, so presumably you'll be happy for yourself to as well. Well then, easy solution for you to consider, Korrode: who knows of the Monster Arena in FFX? Put something like that in EL for A/D'ers to go in and train to their heart's content - for a price. We pay for our iron, you pay for your baddies. Shall we set the price for Male Goblins (unarmed) at 2K each? Obviously, a huge markup from where it should be, but what price will iron have hit a month after this happens? Yes!!! My spawn vending machine idea is resurrected! You could have banks of them lined up. "Please use exact change". Out drops a spawn, aggro'd on you!

I think we've gotten off-topic. I'm not sure I understand what problem you are trying to fix. Is it really so bad that multiplay is not allowed? It seems that allowing multiplay was at least the spark of what has you thinking about depletable resources. I think EL was an awful lot of fun just 2 months ago. It doesn't seem as much fun anymore. I'm not ready to leave yet, I hope you find a way to make it fun. Maybe if you explain what you're after?

Entropy has already decided to implement depletable resources. I'm looking forward to seeing how that changes the game. I think for my case, it will mean branching out to a wider variety of harvestables. As I've spent the last couple of weeks focusing hard on harvesting a few specific resources, this will inevitably force an adaptation for me to continue. I guess it depends on just how much each resource has before depletion. Will more popular items like silver have a larger initial availability, or will all resources have approximately the same amount? I guess the one iron in evtr will be sorely beaten by harvesters on a regular basis. I'm interested to see it, not against it, but also not yet for it. We'll see! ;) As to multiplay, I think it is a bad plan. I think that if you allow multiplay for harvesting, you will have to answer to players who want to multiplay to restock their main on a spawn, to bag sit at a mine, to bag sit a db while I run back from hell, to pvp with each other, to do all the things that multiplay can allow. I think if you open up multiplay it will give you more headache with little personal return. I can tell you how I will respond to multiplay if it's allowed: no lost db while training, and I will have several alts focused on mining/harvesting specific items. I can easily run two clients on a single machine (small windows, lowered graphic detail) and have both harvesting nonstop on their favorite depleteable. I don't think this is fair to other players. No to multiplay, please.

I think alts that harv/farm just to sell hurt the game economy. They produce wealth without bringing balance by using those resources. Alts that are real 'alternate characters' should be nearly indistinguishable from a main. I have a couple of alts, mostly for exploring (I don't want my main popping into someone's guildmap, the guildmembers may not like it), and also for exploring different character builds. I do sometimes play multiple characters at the same time, using my laptop to run a second client. These characters are totally separate, don't interact, and my alts aren't selling gc for $$$. Obviously, there's a market, and it would be difficult (or impossible) to control that market, so I don't think that's the angle to take. I'm not willing (at this point) to directly pay money into EL, either through the shop, or in the form of a proposed monthly fee. I think radu has taken a known formula for success --free stuff for everybody, better/more stuff for ppl who pay, or exclusive content (p2p characters) -- and put it to work. The gold/harving problem is obviously cutting into his RL economy, or this discussion wouldn't be happening here or in ch6. I wouldn't want to lose my alts, but I feel something has to change, or we risk losing access to the game entirely, so, like others before me, I propose allowing 'real' alts, not farmers/harvers. The developer/mod team seems to have a good handle on using server logs to learn crucial bits of information about players and their characters. I think a process to identify goldfarmers and harvesting alts is already in place, and it simply becomes a matter of declaring expectations --EL doesn't allow goldfarmers-- then holding us to those expectations through careful analysis of server logs. EL is fun, and that's why I'm here. Any player who is here for money can GTFO as far as I'm concerned. Bots and bothosting are an exception to that statement, because they serve a useful purpose to the entire community, not just individuals. I guess this statement will make for me a brand-new bunch of friends, but, I can't get everyone to love me... Thanks for reading, Elveron.
